Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant SPLIT after their wedding

Which MAFS star is trying to sabotage Jules and Cam’s marriage? Mystery ‘source’ leaks fake stories to the press about the pair splitting before their wedding

Married At First Sight’s Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant are reportedly heading for a split, despite marrying in Sydney over the weekend.

Or at least that’s according to this week’s NW magazine, citing an unnamed source who is supposedly ‘well-informed about the situation’.

Daily Mail Australia understands this ‘source’ is actually an embittered former MAFS contestant who is jealous that Jules and Cameron are more famous than he is.

Furthermore, the claims about Jules and Cameron being on the verge of breaking up are absolutely baseless.

According to NW’s fabricated report, the newlyweds have been having ‘so many issues this past year’ and didn’t even want to get married.

They apparently only tied the knot because of a lucrative $75,000 deal they had signed with Channel Nine to televise the ceremony on A Current Affair.

The unnamed source said: ‘They’ve had so many issues this past year, so they didn’t want to make it legal. They’re just doing it to keep Channel Nine happy.

‘The network paid Cam and Jules $75,000 to have exclusive access to the wedding and for it to be televised [on ACA]. They were basically forced down the aisle.

‘They put on a brave face at the wedding, but it was far from a happy occasion. They’re ready to go their separate ways.’

Despite these claims, Jules and Cameron, who met filming MAFS season six last year, were the picture of happiness at their wedding over the weekend.

Their nuptials will be featured in a 90-minute special episode of A Current Affair, which airs Tuesday night from 7pm on Channel Nine.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Nine’s publicity department and Jules and Cameron’s manager for comment.
