She may be a fashion figure and wife to Australian pop star Guy Sebastian, but like any mother making sure her kids eat well is a top priority for Jules Sebastian.
The 36-year-old is a busy mum with two young children (Hudson, six and Archer four), who manages a career as a stylist, a blogger and brand ambassador.
Recently, Jules revealed how a health kick helped her and her husband Guy overhaul their approach to fitness and diet – something she’s extended across the board.
She shares how subtle food swaps have been key in getting her children to eat healthier.

Speaking on a Honey Mum’s podcast with journalist Deborah Knight, Jules said one of the easiest things she did was make her children delicious and tasty smoothies.
‘They love these smoothies that I make, and they have no idea it’s packed with all the good things and they just think they’re a treat,’ she said.
She explained while there’s a focus on health, the family haven’t gone overboard.
Instead, there have been some simple tweaks including swapping out white bread for brown.

‘Just the small things – switching from white to brown rice and fewer treats, the kids don’t know the difference,’ she said.
Jules shared that the family’s embrace of health came about after Guy was asked to be on the cover of Men’s Health.
‘We took it upon ourselves to get healthy and fit – and it was always sort of a joke with us [Guy doing the cover] but he was like, “Right, this is it. Let’s do this”,’ she said.

The couple’s training routine, which ran over the course of 12 weeks, saw them hit the gym up to six times a week, as well as cutting out all alcohol, sugar and carbs.
Once the pair reached their goal, Jules said continuing to exercise and eat well was something they both found they naturally wanted to do.
Jules said while at first, it was difficult to push through negative feelings she had about herself and her body, once she made the commitment the results showed.
‘Having two young kids, you can get a bit down on yourself and your body and you find an excuse not to do it, but now that I am doing it I’ve got so much energy and a clearer head,’ she said.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia previously, the stylist and Fitbit ambassador revealed while her health challenge was behind her she still makes time for a killer workout four times a week.
‘As I have two young boys it can be super difficult to find the time – and motivation – to get to the gym,’ she said.
But a few of her tried and true hacks ensure she prioritises her health – no matter what is happening in her life.

Topping the list of her motivation tricks is this handy piece of advice: Put on your gym gear as soon as you get up in the morning.
‘There’s no excuse once I’ve put on my workout gear,’ she explained.
‘I do the school drop-offs and drive straight to the gym. Most of the time, it’s the only time I will work out because the day gets filled up very quickly with work and life.’

Another is to find a workout buddy to train with.
‘Guy and I will sometimes train together and I’ve found it to be really helpful particularly when one of you isn’t all that keen but the other can help to push you along,’ Jules explained.
‘My sister-in-law is also a good training buddy.’

Jules’ routine consists of both resistance and cardio training about four days a week – and she backs it up with clean eating
A third and probably one of the most important for anyone leading a busy life is to schedule in her workouts.
‘It can be difficult to find time when you’re a working parent but I’ve found that when it’s in the calendar it’s locked in as part of my day,’ she explained.

‘I like to train in the gym so I can use the machines to help me target different muscle groups each time I train,’ she said.
‘I train more intensely throughout the week and on the weekend, I like to be more active outdoors by playing with my sons and going on walks.
