BREAKFAST: Boiled eggs, avocado, spinach, grilled tomato

LUNCH: Chicken salad or sushi

DINNER: Protein and vegetables

SNACKS: Protein shake, almonds and fruit

‘The body transformation has been a real life style change for me and it’s been amazing,’ she told FEMAIL.

‘Changing my exercise and eating habits has made me happier, more productive and I feel a whole lot better in my clothes.’

FITNESS REGIME

The busy mother – who has two sons, five-year-old Hudson and three-year-old Archer – said she trains at least three times a week.

‘I always warm up first, usually on the rower, followed by interval training, then some resistance for strength. Then a cool down and a stretch.

‘A mixture of cardio and resistance for about and hour is my usual routine.

‘I have two small boys so I am usually at the park or doing something active with them so that keeps me on my toes too.’

SECRETS TO A GLOWING COMPLEXION

The wife of singer Guy Sebastian said the beauty routine she swears by is washing your face before bed no matter what the reason is.

‘The beauty routine I swear by is to always wash your face before bedtime. Even after a big night, no matter how big… your face will love you for it,’ she said.

‘Apart from exercise and eating healthy, I drink plenty of water and keep a strict skincare routine.’

Jules, who is the face of Woolworth’s skin care range Voeu, said she generally uses the brand’s facial gel and exfoliation scrub for cleansing and micellar water for tone and moisturiser for hydration.

‘It keeps my skin nourished and healthy,’ she revealed.

UNUSUAL BEAUTY HACK

‘I like to moisturise my feet with lanolin then go to bed with socks on. My feet are so smooth and soft in the morning,’ Jules revealed.

Made with grease extracted from sheep’s wool, lanolin is one of the most skin-loving ingredients around.

The molecular structure of lanolin mimics human skin lipids, meaning the ingredient moisturises skin from the outside, and helps the skin to moisturise itself from within.

MORNING ROUTINE

As any parent would know, sleeping in would be a bonus.

‘Mostly, hoping squeezing my eyes tight enough that my kids will sleep in past 6am,’ Jules said.

‘If not, then, up and at them for breakfast, lunch packing, uniform pressing and basic morning madness.

‘I’ll somehow fit in a glorious three minute shower, face routine, then in the car for drop offs.

‘I’ll normally hit the gym then work if I don’t have my youngest for the day, otherwise it’s all parks, swimming lessons and grocery shopping for me.’

AVERAGE DAY ON A PLATE

For breakfast, Jules said if there’s a lot of time to spare, she would make herself boiled eggs, avocado, spinach and grilled tomatoes.

‘If I’m in a hurry, muesli with yoghurt and fruit,’ she said.

During lunchtime, she would have a chicken salad or sushi while dinner would usually be a piece of protein with vegetables.

She would also treat herself to chocolate after dinner.

And for snacks, she would have a protein shake, almonds and fruit.

She said her way of unwinding after a long day was 'Netflix, tea, husband hangouts and bed'

GUILTY PLEASURE

‘My guilty pleasure is most definitely chocolate,’ she said.

‘I like a sneaky piece a couple of times a week. I don’t really have cheat days, but if I really want something I’ll have it.’

FINDING BALANCE WITH CAREER, FAMILY AND HEALTH

‘It all comes down to priority and what matters the most,’ she said.

‘To me, my family will always come first. I want to be available to them for whatever they need. I fit in my exercise and work around the kid’s school schedules.

‘It isn’t always easy, and I do need some extra help from time to time, but I always do the most important thing first, then everything else seems to flow and follow from there.’

PLANS FOR 2018

As for 2018, Jules said she wanted to squeeze in any opportunity she could get with her children – and focus on her glittering career.

‘2017 was a year of stepping back and getting back to what is really important,’ she said.

‘With my five-year-old starting school and my three-year-old starting pre-school, I wanted to be there for drop offs and pick ups, and everything in-between, so I made the decision to fit work in around them and not the other way around.

‘Best decision ever. I want more of that for 2018 but I am also really passionate about working and having a career.

‘I love filming Tea with Jules and interviewing interesting and inspiring people so more filming is on its way. More presenting, hosting, The Sebastian Foundation and fashion too.’
