And Julia Morris has spoken up about her health and fitness goals, revealing that she focuses on more than just weight loss.

Speaking to Good Health and Wellbeing on Thursday, the 51-year-old explained that a physiotherapist told her last year she would ‘be in trouble’ if she didn’t start exercising.

‘He warned me about osteoporosis and said that I really need to sort my core out,’ Julia explained. 

The physiotherapist’s ‘harsh talk’ drastically changed Julia’s outlook on her health and ‘made a big difference.’  

The mother-of-two revealed she began to see a trainer ‘the next day’ and since has been training ‘twice each week’.

The training strengthened her core, or as Julia described it, made it ‘no longer as bad as jelly.’ 

She believed she would never have a ‘bikini-ready’ body, but can feel the ongoing training improving her strength and posture. 

The comedian also goes for an hour-long walk three times a week and has tried to tweak her diet to curb her ‘very large love affair with sugar.’  

‘I like sugar too much to give it up, but I’m trying to stick to salads and to be conscious of each meal, though I’ll continue to have the odd treat. I’m making an effort to eat slightly smaller amounts,’ she said.
