Julia Morris ‘so happy’ after going under the knife for eyelid surgery and a brow lift following bitter split from husband Dan Thomas: ‘Best decision’
Julia Morris has called her post-divorce plastic surgery one of the ‘best decisions’ she’s ever made after going public with the procedures.
The comedian, 55, went under the knife and had an upper blepharoplasty, which improves the drooping eyelids, and a brow lift from renown Melbourne surgeon Dr Andrew Greensmith.
Dr Greensmith shared striking before and after photos of Julia on his Instagram page, which showed Julia looking incredibly fresh-faced after the tweaks.
‘Best decision I ever made. You opened my eyes on so many levels. This comment is not sponsored. Just wide-eyed praise and so happy,’ Julia wrote in the comments section.
‘I’m not expert but that is one hellova good looking pair of eyes,’ she wrote under another one of the photos.

Under yet another, she said it was the best decision she ever made having the procedure.
‘Thank you for making me look closer to how i felt. Best decision I ever made. Didn’t make it lightly at all,’ she said.
‘I remain super grateful that I was in such gifted hands.’
It comes after Julia announced her divorce from her husband of 16 years, Dan Thomas.
During a candid interview with Stellar magazine she said the breakup was a long time coming.

‘Let’s just say I wasn’t married to the person I thought I was,’ Julia explained candidly.
‘I have become an Olympic medallist in running him down. But to be honest, I have been trying to stop doing that because I don’t want to let him into my life at all anymore. I’m free.
‘Unfortunately, I’ve had my eyes opened and I’ve had a big awakening about my people pleasing and what I will tolerate and how I see the best in people – and that’s not always the truth.’
The TV host announced her divorce in May last year.

‘I’m famous for saying I feel like every year we’re going to break up. But it definitely gets to that same point, which is that we are just not necessarily growing in the same direction,’ Julia told The Australian Women’s Weekly.

Morris admitted she does pleasure herself ‘sometimes… if I can be bothered.’
She said that ‘self-care’ is not a priority for her because she’s too busy, adding: ‘Who’s got the time? I’ve got washing to do!’
