Julia Roberts and George Clooney rom-com Ticket to Paradise is given release date
Ticket to Paradise, a romantic comedy featuring Julia Roberts & George Clooney, is set to hit theaters in the fall of 2022.
The release date for the movie has been set by Universal Pictures as September 30, 2022, according to Variety.
The motion picture, directed by Ol Parker, reunites the A-listers, who have past worked together in movies including 2001’s Ocean’s Eleven, 2004’s Ocean’s Twelve and 2016’s Money Monster.

Roberts was featured in Clooney’s directorial debut with Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, also featuring Sam Rockwell and Drew Barrymore.
In Ticket to Paradise, Clooney, 59, and Roberts, 53, play a former couple who are looking to help guide their daughter from making the mistakes they did in their relationship.
Production on the movie – which Parker penned with Daniel Pipski – is set to commence later on this year in Queensland, Australia.
The Australian federal government is offering tax incentives to the studio to film there as part of the Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy.

Clooney’s most recent project was his directing and starring turn in 2020’s The Midnight Sky with Felicity Jones and David Oyelowo.
Roberts was most recently seen on the big screen in the 2018 drama Ben Is Back, as well as the Amazon Prime show Homecoming.
Universal had previously reserved a date for a film release; It is tentatively slated to hit theaters in 2022 after Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (September 7) and before Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (October 7), Deadline reported.
