Julianne Hough’s man Brooks Laich chats ‘indifference’ in marriage with divorce lawyer Laura Wasser

Following his own separation rumors, Julianne Hough’s husband Brooks Laich discussed the lack of communication and growing indifference that can destroy marriages during his podcast, How Men Think.

‘[Couples need to continually evolve. You’re going to change, I’m going to change in the course of my life, my wife is going to change in the course of her life,’ the Canadian 36-year-old said on Sunday.

‘But also, I think people over time can develop some sort of indifference where once there was an attraction. They can just develop an indifference, and it’s not staying connected enough to continue to learn and grow and accept your changes, accept their changes, and also challenge each other.’

Brooks continued: ‘There’s areas in your relationship you can undoubtedly grow, and maybe there’s just an indifference in people where they don’t want to put in the energy to do it, or they don’t think they can.’

Chatting with famed divorce attorney Laura Wasser, Laich confirmed he had no plans on ending his two-year marriage by saying: ‘I hope I’m never on your podcast [All’s Fair]!’

The former hockey forward and the 31-year-old Emmy-winning choreographer have been spotted together twice – January 9 and February 1 – since reports of them ‘having problems.’

‘If it was up to Brooks, he would stay married,’ a source told People.
