The Sorry singer wrote: ‘Just found out I’m like 60% Irish,’ and added: ‘Shoutout Ireland’ to a picture of the Irish flag and a shamrock leaf.
He didn’t explain how he discovered this information, whether it was a genetics website or directly from his father.
The Love Yourself hit-maker also shared a picture of his dad Jeremy, who was tucking into some Irish whiskey, so it’s likely the topic could have come up in conversation.
