Justin Bieber to be the voice of winged god of love and attraction in new Cupid film

Justin Bieber use his charismatic tones to voice the god of love and attraction in a new film.

The 24-year-old What Do You Mean? pop superstar is developing a movie alongside Mythos Studios based on the story of Cupid,  Deadline reported on Tuesday.

Next step: Justin Bieber, 24, just announced on Tuesday that he has signed on to be executive producer and the main voiceover for an upcoming animated film based on Cupid

Mythos Studios’ co-founder is Scooter Braun, who just so happens to be Bieber’s manager, too.

Bieber seems like he’s perfect for the role, though.

‘When this project was brought to Justin, he instantly was excited to be a part of it. Fortunately for us, like Cupid, he knows a little bit about love and mischief,’ Scooter said.

‘Both myself and Scooter have a lifelong love of mythology and we are so excited to partner with Justin to bring the amazing, magical story of Cupid to the world,’ added Mythos Studios co-founder David Maisel.

Maisel executive produced the animated film ‘The Angry Birds Movie,’ along with the first two ‘Iron Man’ movies and ‘The Incredible Hulk.’ Bieber and Braun previously teamed up as producers on the 2011 music documentary ‘Never Say Never.’

Braun is best known as a music talent manager with Bieber and Ariana Grande on his roster. He and Maisel, the founding chairman of Marvel Studios, launched Mythos Studios in March and acquired a 50% stake in Aspen Comics.

Bieber teased the film Tuesday morning on Instagram.

This news comes after Justin’s on-again off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez, 25, just released a new music video for her song ‘Back To You’ on Tuesday.

Many think it is based on her rocky relationship with Bieber.

The brunette beauty stuns in the modern Bonnie And Clyde inspired romance clip that shows her running away from a Justin look-alike ex even though she knew it was a risky choice and they wouldn’t end up together in the end.

Not only does the video’s main character look like Justin, but she also references events from their time together that have taken place in real life.

Selena Gomez and Bieber dated on-off from 2011 until 2014 before they rekindled the flame in October 2017

After first dating in 2010 following a pancakes date at IHOP in Philadelphia, the pair were last together at the end of March this year.

‘Selena’s realized even though he’s made some positive improvements, they just aren’t a perfect match right now,’ a source told E! News.
