Justin Bieber tries to teach Jimmy Fallon how to play hockey on The Tonight Show

With the NHL season ramping up towards the playoffs, Jimmy Fallon decided to get some hockey lessons from hockey enthusiast and Canada’s own Justin Bieber.

The 25 year old pop star hit the ice with the 45 year old host for a pre-taped segment on The Tonight Show on Thursday night.

The segment comes just before his new album Changes is released, with Bieber scheduled to perform on The Tonight Show on Friday with Quavo.

The segment began with Jimmy and Justin ‘gearing up,’ though Fallon thought it was ‘the dumbest thing’ they needed so much gear on.

Bieber then explained that a puck is, ‘really hard,’ as a justification for all of the padding needed to play hockey.

When Bieber was tightening Fallon’s skates, the host asked the singer who his favorite hockey player, and he said, ‘Alexander Nordique,’ and when Fallon said he was ‘cool,’ Bieber admitted, ‘I just made him up, he’s not really a player.’
