The workout outing came just weeks after the actor celebrated his 50th birthday with a stylish Instagram snap.

‘As a kid I couldn’t begin to imagine what 50 looks like… and yet of course it looks like this. Both dumb and hilarious at the same time,’ Theroux began.

‘Thank you life. Subverting my expectations for 5 decades. Always funny, always profound…You win again,’ he concluded.

The actor’s new film, HBO’s White House Plumbers, co-starring Woody Harrelson, had production suspended earlier this month amid reports of ‘unprofessional behavior.’

The network is reportedly investigating an incident that happened on August 4 between director David Mandel and a crew member from the prop department.

The incident lead to the prop department walking off the set of the movie in protest after the altercation, which was recorded on audio.

The audio recording featured Mandel telling the crew member the F-word and threatening that he’ll never work again.

‘HBO has received reports of alleged unprofessional behavior on the set of White House Plumbers,’ the network said in a statement.

‘We take very seriously our responsibility to ensure a respectful work environment on all our productions, and we are investigating the matter fully,’ the statement added.
