Kaka proves he’s still got it as he makes surprises appearance at six-a-side match in London… but one team-mate is left unimpressed with selfish Brazilian as he screams for the ball

  •  Brazilian legend Kaka made a surprise appearance at a London six-a-side match
  •  The former AC Milan midfielder helped Reach Out FC beat Hackney Wick 4-2
  •  However, one of Kaka’s team-mates screamed at him while asking for a pass
  •  Kaka ignored his temporary team-mate and smashed the ball into the net
  • The 2007 Ballon D’Or winner was also nutmegged by a Hackney Wick player

Just think about it: you’re lining up for a normal 6-a-side match on a Saturday morning with your mates – and then you spot a Champions League winner playing for the other team.

That was the unfortunate scenario for Hackney Wick FC this weekend, as former AC Milan and Real Madrid midfielder Kaka turned out for Reach Out FC on a one-game loan deal.

The 2007 Ballon D’Or winner showed that he still has the skills that accompanied him during his prime footballing years, scoring a superb solo goal on the hallowed turf of Haggerston School in Hoxton.

However, just as his goal was being recorded for a video that has spread all across social media , one of Kaka’s team-mates can be heard demanding that the former Brazilian international cut the ball back to him on the edge of the area.

In true Kaka fashion, the 37-year-old opted to shuffle the ball onto his left foot and fire the ball into the top right-hand corner in the net – before jumping into a cage in celebration.

The former attacking midfielder was taking part in adidas’ ‘Rent-a-Pred’ campaign, where a former footballer donning the brand-new Predator 20s joins a Sunday league team on loan for a match.

It wasn’t all plain sailing for Kaka on the Hoxton playing fields, however, as the former Milan superstar was nutmegged by an opposition player during his brief cameo in north London.

However, Kaka did manage to see the funny side of being nutmegged by a player whose twitter name is ‘JamBoyFresh’.

The Brazilian’s influence on the game was the deciding factor on the pitch, as Reach Out FC beat their star-struck opponents 4-2.

After the match, Kaka said: ‘We had a slow start in the game but luckily I managed to give the guys the unfair advantage they had reached out to the Rent-A-Pred hotline for.

‘I’ve always loved playing in England so it was great to come back again and play with a group of people that love the game as much as I do.’

Other athletes to have taken part in the Rent-A-Pred initiative are former Juventus striker Eni Aluko and the F2 Freestylers.
