- Now, he has taken to Twitter to aim a dig at Craig McRae’s young group
Kane Cornes has taken the opportunity to have another dig at Collingwood after the Magpies suffered their first defeat of the season by Geelong.
Cornes came under-fire for his criticism of Pies star Jack Ginnivan after the club’s round one win over St Kilda, with the Port Adelaide great unimpressed with the youngster’s celebrations after the game.
Club officials handed Ginnivan a GoPro to give fans a behind-the-scenes insight on the aftermath of their victory, but Cornes was far from pleased with the players ‘carrying on’.

He claimed that Collingwood – who finished 17th last season – are not in a position to celebrate in that manner until they establish themselves as a top quality side.
Cornes’s scathing criticism of the club did not earn widespread support, with former Pies coach Nathan Buckley calling the pundit out for his comments.
But now Cornes has reignited his feud with the club, taking to Twitter to rub salt in the wounds after the Pies threw away a 37-point lead to lose to the Cats.
‘So @CollingwoodFC, who gets the GoPro? #AFLPiesCats’.

Ginnivan sported a new bleach-blond hair look on Saturday night and was embroiled in a ruckus with Geelong star Tom Atkins as the Pies upped the ante in the third term.
He was awarded a free kick close to goal and snapped a right-footed kick that helped the Pies on their way to scoring seven unanswered goals in a blistering quarter of footy.
Yet Jeremy Cameron showed his class to force his side back into the contest and he kept his cool with a set shot in front of goal to put them ahead in the dying moments of the game.
Craig McRae has Pies fans excited about their season, after enduring a miserable 2021. Young gun Nick Daicos is living up to the hype and scored his first goal in senior footy in the first quarter on Saturday.
