‘Trying to program 808s and be a dad at the same time is not EAZY with C3,’ Hit-Boy said in the caption, while tagging both West and The Game.

The video showed Hit-Boy juggling his work and his very active child at the same time.

West also shared the video on his verified Instagram on Monday, though he didn’t add a caption to the post.

When the Eazy track was released, the credits listed Hit-Boy as a producer alongside contributors Mike Dean and Big Duke.

Hit-Boy also clarified their partnership in an Instagram comment following Eazy’s release, stating, ‘Me and Ye back working.’

He also posted photos of him and West in the studio, along with a tweet that read, ‘if Ye & Hit-Boy moving like it’s 2012, we definitely in for some HEAT.’

The tweet referenced Hit-Boy’s work with West on the GOOD Music compilation Cruel Summer.

The rapper/producer hadn’t worked with West in several years, which he addressed in a September 2020 Instagram post that was ultimately deleted.

‘I haven’t been a fan of Kanye on a personal/ human level since he told me face to face he stopped picking my beats because I worked with Beyoncé,’ Hit-Boy said.

‘This is after I produced n*ggas in paris , clique, and a myriad of other songs / projects for him and his label GOOD Music in the 2 years I was signed with them,’ he added.

West took umbrage to his assertion, stating in an all-caps tweet that he, ‘didn’t have a problem with him producing for Beyonce’ but he had a problem that he was signed to his GOOD Music label from 2012 to 2013 and he never knew about it.

Hit-Boy clarified in December that he signed a, ‘management contract’ with Good Music where West was, ‘getting 20% of what I was doing regardless’ and ‘he never ever said anything’ that he was displeased with the arrangement.
