Kanye West cries that he’s ‘losing his family’ on his track Love Unconditionally off new album Donda

Kanye West poured his broken family fears amid the fizzling of his marriage into a song off his new album Donda.

At the album listening party on Friday held at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia the 44-year-old rapper appeared to be crying and fell to his knees while the track ‘Love Unconditionally’ — which was about ‘losing’ his family – played to the audience.

Wearing an all red outfit and a balaclava over his face, the poignant lyrics could be heard: ‘I’m losing my family / I’m losing my family / I’m losing my family,’ which seemed to be a not so subtle nod to estranged wife Kim Kardashian and their four children.

On his own: Kanye West, 44, looked emotional as a song about ‘losing’ his family called Love Unconditionally played while his estranged wife Kim Kardashian, 40, and their kids watched on

While Kanye’s song played, Kim and kids, North, eight, and Saint, five, sat in the audience and she matched his look as she wore head to toe red. Other children Chicago, three, and Psalm, two were glimpsed in social media posts with caretakers.

The track also featured audio of his late mother Donda (who the album is named for) saying ‘No matter what you never abandon your family.’

But despite the very personal track the YEEZY founder had given Kim a ‘heads up,’ and she reportedly gave her ‘input,’ on it.

‘Kanye did write a song about Kim and their marriage and Kim gave her input about it,’ an insider told E! News. ‘He was respectful and gave her the heads up, and did not want to blindside her.’

And as evident in his lyrics he is reportedly trying very hard to ‘keep the family unit,’ despite him predominantly residing at his Wyoming ranch while Kim maintains ownership of their Hidden Hills mansion.

He ‘respects Kim a lot and wants to keep the family unit. Now that they have had space, Kim feels relieved that they can be cordial and spend time together for the sake of the kids,’ the source added.

The title of his family-centric track seemed to be a nod to Kim’s Father’s Day post on June 20, just four months after she filed for divorce following seven-years of marriage.

‘Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads in our lives! Love you unconditionally!!!,’ her carousel of images read — two of which included photos of Kanye and the kids.

And another track called ‘Welcome to My Life’ is also a reflection on their marriage, and West was said to have ‘cried for two minutes,’ after playing it at the Las Vegas listening party days ago.

‘It’s a very deep, sad song about Kanye, with him reflecting on his marriage with Kim,’ an insider told The Sun.

‘He talks about the kids and mentions her taking everything. After he played this song he paused for like, two minutes, and cried. It was really sombre.’

On the Final Curtain reunion of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim had said that the All of the Lights rapper would ‘always be family.’

‘I will forever be Kanye’s biggest fan. He’s the father of my kids, Kanye will always be family,’ she told host Andy Cohen, later adding that their marriage was ‘so real’ and filled with ‘lots of love.’

‘We have an amazing co-parenting relationship, and I respect him so much, and you know, that was my friend first, first and foremost, for a long time, so I can’t see that going away.’
