According to a press release from Channel Nine, which was sent out on Friday, Karl’s scheduled return is on track.
‘Off come the boardies while the beach hair is combed away, and in come the suits and early morning alarm, as TODAY hosts Karl Stefanovic and Allison Langdon return to television screens this Monday, January 17.’
The rest of the Today team will be back in action too.

‘With the Australian Open beginning, Alex Cullen will be in Melbourne for the next two weeks reporting on all the action as Tim Davies holds the fort presenting news, while Brooke Boney also returns from her summer break to deliver all the entertainment news,’ Nine said.
Channel Nine also confirmed that Karl and Ally would be back on-air on Monday, but declined to comment on the status of Karl’s health.
Promos for the pair’s return have already been rolled out, including one in which Karl and Ally recreate a scene from Pulp Fiction.
In the original scene from the film, Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman) and Vincent Vega (John Travolta) have a dance off in the middle of a cafe, grooving along to Chuck Berry’s tune You Never Can Tell.

Fellow Channel Nine colleagues Alex Cullen, Tim Davies and Brooke Boney are shown eating their breakfast with a look of disbelief on their faces.
The silence is then broken by entertainment reporter Brooke who chimes in with, ‘Looks like the morning’s coffee has kicked in.’
