While Kloss might’ve been the biggest name to hit the runway, a number of other models strutted their stuff at the event featuring the Project Runway judge Brandon Maxwell’s work.

One woman wore a an elegant silk dress underneath a white blazer that covered a pair of black pants. A black corsage complimented her right wrist.

Another outfit consisted of a low-cut black top that stayed on via a pair of black straps. She held a black coat in her left hand.

A mesh net covered her lower half though her tight black shorts were clearly seen beneath it.

She wore paler brown boots that extended all the way up to her knees.

Another woman wore a low-cut black dress that consisted of a simple top pushing up her ample cleavage and a feathery black skirt.

New York Fashion Week has still been a highly attended event with COVID-19 concerns lessening in recent days.

The show went on: New York Fashion Week has still been a highly attended event with COVID-19 concerns lessening in recent days

The situation has gotten better in recent days with Governor Kathy Hochul announcing that just 3,383 New Yorkers were hospitalized Friday, according to The New York Times. That number is the lowest since Omicron began to ravage the state.

The statewide positivity rate, the number of people who tested positive for the disease, for Friday was just 2.5% which is much lower than the 23% rate recorded after New Year’s Day.

Despite these concerns lessening, the New York Fashion Week event organizers still took safety precautions. All attendees must be fully vaccinated, wear masks while indoors except for the runway models or in designated areas and less guests are allowed in to watch the shows.

Cate Holstein of Khaite, Christian Siriano, Claudia Li, Dion Lee, Gabriela Hearst and Michael Kors all returned to the event, among many others.

Several of the new designers included Judy Turner, Commission, PatBO and Saint Sintra.
