Kate Bosworth showcases physique in stunning gown

They say all that glitters is not gold.

But leggy Kate Bosworth was certainly looking precious as she posed up in a sparkling green gown at the InStyle Awards in Los Angeles on Monday.

The fine filly looked every inch the thoroughbred as she trotted down the red carpet in her visually striking ensemble, and certainly made her claims this year she has a ‘boyish’ figure more than slightly ridiculous.

All that glitters: Kate Bosworth looked fine in a glittering green gown at the InStyle Awards in Los Angeles on Monday

The Superman Returns favourite was certainly quite the sight as she glided around in her glittering gown, which she cunningly twinned with a pair of adventurously high stilettos.

Kate has been married to 46-year-old Astronaut Farmer director Michael Polish since 2013.

The actress has previously spoken of her love of dressing up on the red carpet, but admitted it took some time for her to accept her ‘boyish’ body type.

Speaking to Fashion magazine earlier this year, she said: ‘I’ll look at someone like Beyoncé and say, “That dress is so amazing on her,” but I know that my body type is completely different.

‘I have more of a boyish figure, so anything that’s too loose or shapeless isn’t the most flattering for me.

‘When it comes to dressing up, I don’t have any anxiety at all – it’s actually something I really enjoy.

‘It’s the quickest way to communicate a feeling – culturally and individually, clothing can represent something about our time or what is going on inside us.

‘Fashion is the most immediate way to see something evolve.’
