The Duchess of Cambridge again honoured local designers as she stepped out in statement Onitaa earrings – which are made in Pakistan.

Kate Middleton, 37, wore the gold circular earrings to match her glittering green Jenny Packham gown.

Onitaa are a South Asian luxury couture label, which also design bridal wear and other jewellery. The fashion house have a store in London’s Chelsea.

She wore the earrings as her and Prince William arrived by rickshaw at the National Monument of Pakistan for an event hosted by British High Commissioner Thomas Drew for them to meet the great and the good of Pakistan society.

The Duke joined her at the event and he also wore an eye-catching black Sherwani – a long coat-like jacket that is knee length and usually worn for formal occasions or weddings.

The earrings, which had a small circle attached to the ear and a second patterned circle hanging off them – were made up of small gems.

The Duchess wore her hair swept back off her face so you could see the lavish earrings, while she kept her make up look natural.

Her custom made version of the ‘Georgia’ dress by Jenny Packham featured long sleeves, structured shoulders and crystal detailing around the neckline and waist. 

She teamed it with a matching fringed scarf draped over one side and silver Jimmy Choo heels.

Earlier it was revealed that Kate Middletonwore high street shoes – from New Look, which cost just £10.

The shoes, which are now sold out in nude, feature a pointed toe, a small block heel and an ankle strap were fashionably paired with traditional dress for her first meeting in Islamabad.

The New Look shoes, which are normally £23.99, have been discounted in the nude colour, while they are still available in navy and black.
