The interview started when Greg James said: ‘Last time I saw you we were at the Palace’, to which she says: ‘Don’t tell anyone what my mother and I did’.

However, Greg continues to spill her secret: ‘I haven’t mentioned this story at all because you told me not to.

Explaining the situation he said: ‘We’re in Kensington Palace for the Teen Hero Awards. We were about to meet William and Kate, and I said “you’ve got to steal something, steal that pencil”.’

Camila, who is dating fellow pop star Shawn Mendes, went on to explain: “I was like you triple doggy dare me?” Which Greg went on to admit that he did.

However Kate obviously found it funny as she used the Kensington Royal Twitter account to leave an emoji which showed two eyes – perhaps showing how she was now watching Camila.
