Carole Middleton celebrated her 64th birthday on Thursday and it looks like husband Michael was left to get the beers in.
The photos, taken at a Tesco branch in Earls Court, London, show the father of Kate Middleton carefully place the items, including several bottles of Carib lager, into the boot of his car before setting off to his daughter’s house.
Last year it was estimated that Michael and Carole’s party supplies business Party Pieces was worth £30million and the Middleton family had a net worth of £36.2million.
Online reviews for the £1.30 beer vary, with fans praising the 5.2% beer for being ‘very uplifting’ and critics slamming it as ‘bland and watery’.

The family marked the occasion by taking part in a soiree hosted by Pippa and husband James Matthews at their home in Chelsea, London.
The family celebration saw the Duchess of Cambridge arriving at her sister’s Chelsea home donning an elegant off-shoulder red Alexander McQueen dress.
She was joined by her brother James Middleton and his girlfriend Alizee Thevenet, 29.
It is assumed that Prince William stayed at home to look after their children.
Following the celebration, Michael Middleton was spotted leaving Pippa’s home laden with flowers and birthday presents in luxury gift bags.
