What a drag! Kate Moss, 48, can’t shrug off a lifetime of smoking as she’s seen puffing on a cigarette during outing with her daughter Lila Grace
Her age-defying looks have made her one of the world’s most bankable supermodels for more than 30 years – but even Kate Moss can’t completely shrug off the effects of her lifelong smoking habit.
After a shopping trip with her daughter, the 48-year-old took a heavy drag on a cigarette, revealing tiny vertical lines around her lips caused by repeatedly puckering her lips
Once as famous for her hard partying as for her catwalk appearances, Kate now lives a more sedate life in the Cotswolds, but has continued to smoke.
Habit of a lifetime! Kate Moss was spotted taking a heavy drag from a cigarette as she continues her life-long smoking habit during an outing with her daughter Lila Grace this week
The pictures were taken last week as she and her 19-year-old daughter Lila Grace visited an interior design studio in Fulham, west London.
The teenager, whose father is media executive Jefferson Hack, had spent 40 minutes talking with designers before her mother pulled up in a chauffeur-driven Mercedes.
Lila, who has followed in Kate’s footsteps on the catwalk, later appeared at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition preview party wearing the same striking £800 Burberry sleeveless shirt with cape plus brown mini skirt.

An onlooker said: ‘Kate and Lila Grace were laughing and joking when they came out.
‘They look like they have a lovely, close relationship. A typical mother and daughter. They chatted for a few minutes by their cars while Kate smoked a cigarette.
They both looked like they had other commitments and gave each other a big hug before they went their separate ways.’

Research has found that cigarettes can damage the proteins which help keep the skin firm, supple and resistant to wrinkles.
But Kate has been an unapologetic smoker for much of her life. Indeed, she was first spotted by a model agency scout at the age of 14 while she puffed on a cigarette at JFK Airport in New York.
In 2011, she sparked controversy during Paris Fashion Week by sparking up on the catwalk on No Smoking Day, despite a ban.
Not that it has affected her career. Kate, who gave evidence for her former boyfriend Johnny Depp during his recent libel battle with his ex-wife Amber Heard, is estimated to be worth £55 million.
