Inside the magazine the Australian actress has admitted she’s struggled to find her identity outside of her beloved soap star character.
The 39-year-old also admitted that she found it hard to go through puberty while filming the soap.
‘People wanted to meet me because of Sally, or I won awards because of Sally, or I was invited to great events because of Sally,’ Kate told Stellar.

‘When you don’t remember your life without it and all of a sudden that doesn’t exist, you wonder, ‘what is it about me that is attractive?’
She added it was about ‘finding my own identity,’ and has had to realise that Sally came about because of her.

‘I was incredibly well-endowed, and I think they thought the best thing to do would be to throw a big T-shirt over that and pretend it’s not happening,’ Kate said.
She then spoke about one scene of the show where Sally had to reveal to a room of people that she was wearing a bra.
She added it was hard to see former co-stars Melissa George and Isla Fisher cover TV Week as it hurt her confidence, but now she looks back and thinks it was a good thing for her.

Speaking on her Kate, Tim and Marty radio show recently, Kate defended Sam Frost and her new role on the long-running soap.
The role is Sam’s first acting gig, and comes after she found fame on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.
‘There have been a lot of people who have joined that show without any training and some have left without any training,’ Kate said.
‘They’ve gone on to do many things or they remain there because it’s a very worthy career in itself.’
