Influencer Kate Szepanowski strips down for a sultry lingerie selfie as she vows to cook meals for flood-affected Queenslanders

Influencer Kate Szepanowski has found a unique way to advertise her charitable services during the Queensland floods.

Kate, who is the sister of YouTuber Chloe Szepanowski, raised eyebrows on Wednesday night when she stripped down for a sultry selfie while vowing to cook meals for those impacted by the extreme weather.

Posing on the couch in a black bra and seemingly no underwear, the 26-year-old wrote on Instagram: ‘We are about to cook some food for those affected in floods.’

‘Please DM me if you need nice warm meals or know somebody who does xx,’ added the mother of one, who lives on the Gold Coast.

In a subsequent post, she encouraged those in need to drop by her home and pick up supplies, saying she had spare baby formula available.

She later shared a photo of penne bolognese packed into plastic containers, writing: ‘I’m so tired. Dropping these off tomorrow. Everyone, please try to do your bit.’

‘The world’s hurting right now. People are legit struggling. How can you go about your normal days without wanting to help our fellow bros and sisters?’ she added.

Kate’s heartfelt message about helping the community is a far cry from her recent posts promoting anti-vaxxer conspiracy theories.

‘This is why I would rather die than get that poison injected into me,’ she captioned a recent picture of vaccine misinformation.

After receiving criticism for her comments, Kate wrote on Instagram: ‘This is your reminder to mind your own business and focus on you’.

In August, the model was also called out after she applauded Denmark for lifting Covid lockdowns, without realising the country opened up because of its high vaccination rate.

The coronavirus vaccine is a safe and vital measure being taken to protect the community from the spread of the virus.

While any life-threatening effects of the vaccine are extremely rare, it is extremely common for Covid-19 to serious illness, ongoing health problems and even death.

It comes after eight people have died and hundreds rescued from floodwaters that have damaged at least 19,000 homes and won’t fully recede for days in Queensland and NSW.

Major flooding is under way on the Brisbane, Logan, Bremer and Mary rivers, and Warrill Creek, after the torrential downpours of the past week.

More than 1.77m of rain fell on Mount Glorious, 1.55m at Pomona on the Sunshine Coast and 1.23m at Upper Springbrook on the Gold Coast in seven days.

Brisbane copped 795mm – the city’s wettest week since records began in 1840 – with Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk saying much of the wider region is devastated.

A major flood warning was meanwhile issued on Wednesday afternoon for the Hawkesbury and Nepean rivers in Sydney’s west and north-west, where residents are already on high alert for deadly floods.

The first evacuations have begun in the city’s south-west with parts of Milperra, Chipping Norton and Lansvale ordered to leave immediately as the Georges River rises.
