And Tuesday evening was no different for Katie Holmes who looked effortlessly stylish in an all-leather ensemble as she strutted her stuff through New York City.

Spotted in Midtown, the 43-year-old American actress looked ready for the sidewalk catwalk as she donned the fashionable oversized outfit.

She wore a black leather shirt with gold detailing on the buttons, as well as a pair of black leather straight-legged trousers.

Katie slipped her feet into a pair of metallic silver pointed court heels, adding some height to her slender frame.

On her arm she held a black top handle leather bag with red interior lining and gold hardware.

Her raven tresses were worn in a light beachy wave and cascaded just past her shoulders.

Her appearance in the Big Apple comes after the news that Katie is heading back to the stage for the first time in a decade.

The actress has joined the cast of The Wanderers, an off-Broadway show, last week, according to Deadline.

She is set to play a movie star in the show, written by American playwright Anna Ziegler, which will begin preview performances on January 26, 2023.

After a few weeks, the show will open up to a larger audience on February 16 at the Laura Pels Theater.

The Wanderers centers on a Jewish man named Abe who is a famous novelist. He receives an email from a movie star named Julia Cheever, played by Holmes, that puts his marriage to the test.

The Old Globe Theatre’s artistic director Barry Edelstein will direct the production.

Holmes made her Broadway debut in the revival of All My Sons written by Arthur Miller back in 2008 alongside John Lithgow and Dianne Wiest.

Four years later, she starred in Theresa Rebeck’s Dead Accounts which ended its run in January 2013.

While she hasn’t done much stage performing in her career recently, the Batman Begins star has been busy in the film industry.

Most recently, Holmes wrote, directed and starred in Alone Together which came out over the summer.

Alone Together centers around, ‘two strangers embroiled in bad relationships wind up in the same upstate New York Airbnb,’ according to the film’s IMDb page.

21 star Jim Sturgess, Friday Night Lights actor Derek Luke and The Fighter actress Melissa Leo star alongside Holmes in the movie.

Holmes also recently completed filming on an untitled Ilene Chaiken/Melissa Scrivner-Love/Fox Project as well as the movie Rare Objects.

Most recent release: Her new movie Alone Together came out over the summer. She wrote, directed and starred in the film
