Katie Holmes enjoyed a relaxing solo in New York City on Sunday afternoon.
The 44-year-old actress stood out as she wore a vibrant top as she made her way down the Big Apple’s busy streets.
The star, who has become well-known for her eclectic sense of style, donned a rainbow long-sleeve sweater and oversized pair of jet-black pants.
Holmes also wore a pair of leather shoes that paired well with her trousers as she stepped out.
The Dawson’s Creek star kept a sizable burgundy purse slung over her right shoulder and accessorized with a pair of chic sunglasses.

Her gorgeous brunette locks remained tied into a messy bun for the length of her outing.
Holmes’ most recent appearance in a film was in the drama feature Rare Objects, which premiered this past April.
The movie was based on Kathleen Tessaro’s novel of the same name, which was originally published in 2016.
The Thank You For Smoking star directed the feature, which she also co-wrote, starred in and produced.
The movie’s cast also included Julia Mayorga, Saundra Santiago and Alan Cumming, among others.
Rare Objects received mixed reviews from critics, and it currently holds a 43% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Holmes spoke about the project during an interview with Indiewire, during which she discussed serving as its director and as one of its principal cast members.
‘When I’m directing and acting, I just feel a little bit more pressure to get my performance out of the way, because I know the whole day. I’m less indulgent with myself,’ she said.

The actress went on to state that she greatly enjoyed being able to helm and appear in her project.
‘I feel like what is wonderful about the creative process of making a film, it’s you’re kind of putting everything, every part of yourself into it, all the time,’ she said.
Holmes also expressed that she would likely appear in her own movies in the future.
‘I feel like I came to it when it was right for me, and I’m excited to continue on the path. I’m always looking to see what stories inspire me, how to grow as a filmmaker and an actor,’ she stated.
