On Wednesday, Katie Holmes cut a chic figure in a winter coat as she was pictured out with her daughter Suri Cruise in New York City.
The 42-year-old Dawson’s Creek star and Suri, 15, were first spotted walking side-by-side as they made their way through the Big Apple.
The actress shares her daughter with her former husband, Tom Cruise, with whom she was previously in a high-profile relationship.

Holmes wore a stylish patterned overcoat that draped over much of her frame while spending time with her daughter.
The Thank You For Smoking actress also sported a black sweater and a matching pair of athletic leggings that contrasted well with her outerwear.
The performer rocked sets of small white socks and leather shoes while carrying a sizable light brown purse.
Her lovely brunette locks remained free-flowing and cascaded onto her shoulders and backside during the outing.

The performer and her former husband initially appeared together in public in April of 2005.
Prior to becoming involved with the Mission: Impossible franchise star, the actress was romantically involved with Joshua Jackson and Chris Klein, and she was previously engaged to the latter.
Cruise, 59, was previously married to Mimi Rogers and Nicole Kidman, and he shares two children with the 54-year-old actress.

‘We were followed a lot when she was little. I just wanted her outside, so I would walk her around to find parks at, like, 6 in the morning when nobody would see us,’ she said.
The actress went on to express that her daughter’s well-being has always been her highest priority and that she wanted her to mature into a confident person.
‘My biggest goal has always been to nurture her into her individuality. To make sure she is 100 percent herself and strong, confident, and able,’ Holmes stated.
