Kate Lawler, 41, bursts into tears as she tells fans she’s struggling with her post-pregnancy hormones and has been suffering from heart palpitations

Kate Lawler burst into tears on social media on Tuesday and told fans she’s struggling with her post-pregnancy hormones. 

She emotionally asked fans ‘when do your hormones calm down after having a baby?’ after admitted she had even burst into tears over football.  

Kate, 41, added: ‘I have just been crying at José Mourinho on TalkSport speaking about England v Germany tonight,’ she said.

The new mum wiped away tears as she talked about Gareth Southgate missing the penalty against Germany in the 1996 Euros. 

‘It was tragic! But worthy of tears?’ she asked herself, shaking her head.

Kate reassured fans that despite crying over football, she’s ‘fine’, although said she had been feeling poorly.

This was in response to messages from followers saying she hadn’t posted any stories. 

‘I was aching all over and I kept falling asleep. It was like someone had spiked my decaf coffee with 27 million sleeping tablets!’ she said.

The mother-of-one shared the story before heading for a blood test, as she was also experiencing heart palpitations.

The Big Brother winner gave birth to daughter Noa back in February and her and fiancé Martin have been working on an incredible home transformation in daughter Noa’s adorable nature-themed nursery.

Kate took to Instagram recently to share some snaps from inside her newborn baby’s bedroom.

Captioning the series of impressive before and after shots, she wrote: ‘Moving home during my pregnancy wasn’t as stressful as everyone told me it would be. Trying to get it decorated ahead of the potato’s arrival however…  

‘Slowly but surely, room by room, we’re getting there and these photos show what the nursery looked like before we moved in compared to now. I’m so happy. It wasn’t a huge job. 

‘The flooring was in really good condition before but we wanted carpet in this room. We painted the fireplace surrounding and replaced the blind, painted and obviously the dreamy wallpaper was a must.’

The mother opted for a colourful wildlife scene wallpaper, featuring various woodland creatures, for half of the room and painted the rest in muted tones.
