Katie Price’s fiancé Carl Woods insists they won’t marry in Vegas

Katie Price’s fiancé Carl Woods has denied the couple are set to marry and insisted the marriage license they obtained in Las Vegas was merely a bizarre prank on Tuesday morning.

Hours before he made the spectacular denial, the Love Island star, 32, was seen locking lips with the glamour model, 43, in Sin City as they continue their lavish getaway in an escape from her legal battles at home.

Taking to Instagram, Carl penned: ‘I can confirm that @KatiePrice and I are not getting married in Vegas and never was [sic]. However, a $102 (£75) marriage license caused pure carnage and got the media all excited and s**t.’

He went on to seemingly reference thrice-married Katie’s wedding to her second husband Alex Reid in Vegas in 2010, when he went on to pen: ‘I mean, I have always said I wouldn’t do anything similar or the same to what’s been done before’, before embarking on their PDA-packed outing.

Shock: The couple stepped out in romantic style shortly after Carl's bizarre claims

Is the Price right? Katie Price’s fiancé Carl Woods has denied the couple are set to marry and insisted the marriage license they obtained in Las Vegas was merely a bizarre prank on Tuesday morning

The couple looked as loved-up as ever when they emerged in casual garb, with Katie opting for a black hoodie with Mama Doll emblazoned on the chest and paired with pink trainers and black leggings.

She could not keep her hands of Carl, who was wearing a white tee and grey Nike tracksuit bottoms, as they locked lips and walked side-by-side in the midst of their erratic holiday.

Katie and Carl’s behaviour has grown increasingly scatty while they have been away, having been spotted in a bridal shop, obtained a marital license and checked out a chapel – prior to Carl’s denial.

The star, who has also been married to Peter Andre and Kieran Hayler, wed Alex in Vegas 11 years ago before the couple renewed their vows on-screen shortly after.

Hmm... Taking to Instagram, Carl penned: 'I can confirm that @KatiePrice and I are not getting married in Vegas and never was [sic]. However, a $102 (£75) marriage license caused pure carnage and got the media all excited and s**t'

Katie didn’t comment on Carl’s post, and instead shared a picture of The Romano Chapel that she captioned: ‘Done and dusted’, suggesting she’d finished her wedding rehearsal, while noting the venue was ‘beautiful’.

Seemingly determined to be individual, Carl claimed he ‘wouldn’t do anything similar’. The post came hours before Katie hinted her wedding to Carl was just hours away as she shared pictures from inside Romano Chapel inside Caesars Palace hotel on Monday.

She went for a stroll with her partner through the luxurious hotel and resort after getting her hair done.

After being spotted visiting bridal boutiques in the area last week, the mother-of-five hinted the nuptials will be taking place imminently as she gave her followers a glimpse inside The Romano Chapel at their hotel, which boasts an ‘unparalleled Roman wedding experience in the heart of Las Vegas.’

Katie surprised fans when she revealed she was travelling to Vegas with Carl mere days after completing a court-ordered rehab stint following her drink-drive crash back in September.

Last week, the couple enjoyed a trip to the Grand Canyon and shared a passionate kiss at the Arizona beauty spot, before they showed off their daring sides by laying on a glass bridge over the canyon.

Katie and Carl have been keeping themselves busy since arriving in Nevada last week – and enjoyed a night at Cirque Du Soleil’s Mystère show on Sunday.

Last week, Katie revealed she’s moving to Las Vegas after marrying fiancé Carl and will star in a new TV show with her former Celebrity Big Brother co-star Cami Li. The mother-of-five insisted she wasn’t in Sin City to ‘party’ and only flew to the States for a holiday and to see Carl’s parents who live there.

MailOnline revealed Katie could be kept away from some of her children if she marries Carl in Vegas after ex-husbands filed legal letters expressing concerns for their children.

News of her exes’ reaction to the rumoured wedding was also referenced in Carl’s rant, as he penned: ‘Oh and not to forget all the idiots that jumpeed on and sold stories regarding their ‘disgust”.
