Kawhi Leonard goes on Caribbean holiday after being offered free trip to stay in Toronto

Kawhi Leonard of the Toronto Raptors enjoys Caribbean holiday with family after winning NBA Championship

Fresh off leading the Toronto Raptors to the franchise’s first-ever championship, Kawhi Leonard is now enjoying the spoils of his success in the Caribbean.

The NBA Finals MVP was spotted on the gorgeous beaches of Barbados along with his family, including his longtime ladylove and baby-mama, Kishele Shipley.

All the fun in the sun comes after a Canada-based tourism company made Leonard an offer for an all-expenses paid trip to the island if he agreed to stay with the Raptors, according to TMZ.

The holiday getaway also comes just days before he will meet with teams that are vying for his services in Los Angeles, now that he’s an unrestricted free agent.

Flashing a big beaming smile reminiscent of the one he had when the Raptors sealed their title, Leonard looked to be in all his glory riding in a floaty raft with Shipley that was being pulled by a speed boat.

Both of them laughed with joy as they soared off their seat when the boat kicked it into overdrive.

The two-time NBA champion showed off his rock solid physique in white-patterned swim trunks, and at times a black life jacket.

And just over three months after giving birth to the couple’s second son, Shipley showed off her figure in a one-piece swimsuit.

The adventurous getaway was also filled with fun boat rides, snorkeling, picnics and, of course, some relaxing along the shoreline with family members.

Along with their three-month-old newborn, the couple are also the proud parents of a three-year-old son.

The family has some big decisions to make after the NBA free agent season opens Sunday, June 30, at 6 p.m. ET.

Both the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers are expected to make their pitches to the soon-to-be 28-year-old superstar in LA this week.

But it appears the incumbent Raptors will have the final say in the process.

ESPN is reporting that Leonard will allow the Toronto brass to make the final presentation, which is usually most preferable when it comes to teams re-signing a big-time player.

Leonard declined his $21.3 million player option for the 2019-2020 season with the Raptors to become an unrestricted free agent.

Come Sunday, he can sign with any team he chooses.
