He has a reputation of being the ‘nicest guys’ in Hollywood and his kind gestures over the years have been widely noted.

And Keanu Reeves stayed true to form recently, when he shared a wholesome encounter with a young fan who spotted him getting off a flight in New York.

The sweet exchange was noted by another passenger, who shared snaps and posted their conversation on his Twitter page on Monday.

TV Producer Andrew Kimmel claimed that Keanu, 57, was the ‘nicest guy’ and ‘happily responded’ to a series of quickfire questions asked by the boy.

Explaining what happened on his social media page, the onlooker wrote: ‘Keanu Reeves was on my flight from London to NYC today.

‘A young boy asked for an autograph at baggage & then began to fire off a series of rapid-fire questions. Keanu happily responded to every single one…

Detailing the conversation between Keanu and the child, Andrew revealed the kid asked the actor why he had been in London, to which he replied: ‘Filming a documentary.’

He then said: ‘I saw online you were at the Grand Prix (pronouncing the x)’, Keanu replied: Yes, the Grand Prix (in a French accent, without correcting him). F1! Race cars!’

When asked if he drives himself, Keanu told the boy that while he doesn’t race F1 cars he does enjoy riding motorcycles.

Keanu went on to tell the boy he lives in LA and is going to be in NYC for five years to see a Broadway show [American Buffalo].

When the child ran out of questions, Keanu began asking them back and quizzed him on why he was in Europe, which galleries he went to in Paris and which was his favourite.

Commenting on the exchange, Andrew wrote: ‘The man could not have been nicer, especially after an international flight.

‘I thought I’d share this because the dude is a class act and little moments like this can make such a big difference in people’s lives. We need more Keanus!’

He added: ‘And yes, I geeked out a little and asked for a photo. I mean… had to. Have a happy 4th everyone!’

Over the years, Keanu has been hailed as a ‘nice guy’ by the masses after large gestures such as giving away millions to giving up his seat on the Subway.

Keanu, who has also been known to help out with his crews on set, apparently finds the unofficial title quite awkward.

When he appeared on Red Table Talk with his Matrix Resurrections co-star Jada Pinkett Smith, he was asked by a fan: ‘Keanu, everyone says you’re Hollywood’s nicest guy, and you’re such a giving person. What do you do to give to yourself?’

A red-faced Keanu, replied: ‘Let’s go for motorcycle ride, let’s read. I love going to the movies. For me, my work is that as well. I often sometimes get asked, “You know, you’ve been at this for a while”, and they’re like, “Do you still love it?”

‘And I’m like, ‘”Yeah, I love it even more”. For me, work is life.’
