Keely Hodgkinson broke her own British record as she finished second in the 800 metres at the Diamond League meeting in Eugene.
The 21-year-old posted a time of one minute 55.19 seconds, crossing 0.16secs behind American Athing Mu, the champion when she claimed silver at the Olympics in Tokyo in 2021 and the 2022 World Championships.
Hodgkinson took 0.58secs off her previous best, set at the Paris Diamond League meeting in June.
Sunday’s action also included a silver medal for GB’s Zac Shaw in the men’s para athletics 100m final.
