Kellogg’s Australia has delighted shoppers living with coeliac disease by launching a gluten-free version of the iconic breakfast cereal Coco Pops.

The new cereal has landed on supermarket shelves, featuring gluten free grains of puffed rice with cocoa without compromising on taste.

Coeliacs and the gluten sensitive alike will be ‘blown away’ by the chocolate taste as the Coco Pops Gluten Free are crunchy, and taste just as good as the original.

‘We continue to see an increasing number of Australians, not just coeliacs, seeking gluten free choices where they don’t have to compromise on taste,’ Dan Bitti, senior marketing lead at Kellogg’s said. 

Coco Pops Gluten Free follows the launch of Sultana Bran Gluten Free earlier this year.

‘To meet the needs of all Australians, we have looked at our favourite brands and created gluten free versions of Coco Pops and Sultana Bran Gluten Free, ensuring that taste is no compromise when eating gluten free,’ he said.

‘Whether you’re looking for a high-fibre cereal or simply want to enjoy a chocolate taste, both Sultana Bran and Coco Pops Gluten Free cereals are sure to deliver that great taste you expect.’

With over a third of Aussies seeking gluten free products (36 per cent), Kellogg’s Australia is now offering gluten free versions of Coco Pops and Sultana Bran cereals, endorsed by Coeliac Australia, to bring fibre to the ordinary moments in the day. 

The Kellogg’s Gluten Free range includes Coco Pops Gluten Free, Sultana Bran Gluten Free, Corn Flakes Gluten Free, Special K Gluten Free and Kellogg’s Gluten Free breakfast biscuits.

The tasty treat of Coco Pops Gluten Free is available at Coles supermarkets from Monday, June 28.
