The Love, Dad artist was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin’s lymphoma at age 20, a cancer that originates in the white blood cells, which, if working properly, help the body fight off disease.

With the help of chemotherapy he went into remission at age 21, but many of his songs, including Learn 2 Love, were inspired by the journals he kept during treatment.

Last year on his birthday, the A Song I Wrote After Therapy singer opened a lounge for teens with cancer at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Harry described it as ‘a facility built to help teens find their passions & purpose,’ on Instagram on his birthday in 2022.

Explaining in the post that ‘Pursuing my passions kept me hopeful during my battle with cancer and it’s a dream come true to be able to help other teens and young adults with cancer find theirs.’
