Kerry Katona credits controversial injections for weight loss

She has been proudly displaying her incredible weight loss of late after slimming down thanks to training and the use of SkinnyJab injections. 

And Kerry Katona reveals she’s ‘never felt more in control of myself’ as she showcased her incredibly ripped figure in pictures posted to Instagram on Friday.

The Atomic Kitten singer, 39, looked amazing as she posed in racy black lingerie, while crediting the controversial jabs and her trainer for her body transformation. 

Posing up a storm in her dressing room, Kerry looked happy and confident as she snapped a picture of her gym-honed figure.

The star, who sported a lace floral bra with matching skimpy knickers, twisted her body and angled her legs, allowing her to perfectly showcase ripped physique. 

Kerry, who is currently starring in panto, sported a dramatic palette of make-up while her blonde tresses were styled into cute space buns. 

Captioning the image with a lengthy post, Kerry informed her fans that she had kept to her vow of keeping the weight off, after ditching the cigarettes and adopting a healthier lifestyle.

She also revealed that her weight loss has not only helped her physically, but mentally too as she feels more ‘in control’ of herself, and her ’emotions, decisions and well being’. 

She penned:  ‘Got to say Credit where credit is due I’ve kept my word to myself to stay in shape, quit smoking and just in General have a healthier lifestyle not just for the Benefits of losing weight and keeping it off but even more so for my state of mind.

‘I have never ever felt more on top and in control of myself, my emotions, my decisions and my over all wellbeing!’

The TV personality then went on to give a shout out to SkinnyJab injections (which act as an appetite suppressant) and her trainer for aiding her in her weight loss.

Fans of the star were quick to comment on the post, with many remarking on how great Kerry looked. 

In December, Kerry hit out at This Morning after the show criticised her for using the jabs. 

The singer regularly posts online about the controversial £250 Skinnyjabs and has lost two stone since August after using them.

However on an episode last month, presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield criticised the treatment, leaving Kerry outraged.

Holly and Phillip spoke about Skinnyjabs with Dr Zoe Williams, who dubbed the celebrities who promote them ‘irresponsible’. 

A picture of Kerry and Gemma Collins, who also uses the injections, was shown in the clip as the This Morning hosts chatted about the possible risks of the product.

Holly said to viewers: ‘Could an injection a day help melt the kilos away? That’s what Kerry Katona and Gemma Collins would have you believe.’

Dr Zoe then said the celebrity endorsements were ‘irresponsible’ as they made the jabs look like a ‘wonderdrug’.

She said: ‘Personally I think it’s irresponsible and dangerous because they’re making out you can lose magnificent amounts of weight by using this drug and the truth is you can’t. You still have to diet and exercise.’

Kerry told The Sun Online’s Big Interview: ‘I think it’s very unfair they [This Morning] didn’t have any of us on there. I’m not promoting this just for a pay cheque.

‘Of course I get paid, but I also use the product … I need to know if it works – and it worked for me.’

Kerry isn’t the only star with a love of SkinnyJabs as Gemma Collins has also boasted about the injections aiding her incredible weight loss.

In September last year, Gemma admitted that she would be using her £250 SkinnyJab injections to kick start her diet after crediting them to her three stone weight loss earlier in the year.

She penned: ‘All these fabulous holidays over the summer have meant I’ve been indulging in fantastic food, from all over the world! I mean, Greek food tastes better in Mykonos, right?

‘But now it’s time to rein all the excesses in and get healthy again and @skinnyjab are going to help me do just that!’

In August, the reality star praised the weight loss jabs, claiming they helped curb her appetite after she started using them in June.

Gemma credited the pricey slimming jabs for her three stone weight loss, which she gained one stone back of during a holiday.

In an interview with Sunday People, the confident boutique owner discussed how the injections are aiding her weight loss journey.

She revealed: ‘I went on the jabs and that has been really good for me. You get injected basically and it curbs your appetite as well so it is handy when you are busy and on the road.’
