Kerry Katona discusses walking down the aisle for a fourth time with fiancé Ryan Mahoney

She has been divorced three times, declared herself bankrupt at least twice and was once a member of Brit Award nominated pop group Atomic Kitten.

And on Friday, Kerry Katona, 40, set the record straight with an explosive interview on Friday’s episode of Loose Women.

The star, who was married to Brian McFadden from 2002 to 2006, Mark Croft from 2007 to 2011 and the late George Kay from 2014 to 2017, is now engaged to Ryan Mahoney, 32, after they met on a dating app.

Unlucky in love: Kerry Katona, 40, talked about her upcoming fourth wedding, her OnlyFans earnings and being excluded from the Atomic Kitten reunion on Friday’s Loose Women

Speaking candidly, the Celebrity Big Brother housemate revealed to the panel: ‘I went online and thought, “I wouldn’t mind a free meal,” and met Ryan and it made me realise I do deserve to be loved.’

‘I never thought, “When I grow up I want to get married four times and have five kids by three different dads, and for the kids to have different surnames.”‘

She went on to explain that it can sometimes be difficult for her to get excited about the big day because she wants the marriage as opposed to the wedding itself.

In a clip shown from her recent stint on TLC’s Say Yes To The Dress, Kerry was heard saying: ‘I feel like I shouldn’t be here. Almost like I shouldn’t be allowed to enjoy the day.’

Speaking again to Stacey Solomon, 31, Nadia Sawalha, 56, Kaye Adams, 58, and Jane Moore, 59, Kerry said, ‘At one point Ryan asked me if I actually wanted to get married. I don’t want a wedding I want a marriage.’

‘I’ve been with Ryan three years and by this point I’d normally be divorced so I must be doing something right,’ she quipped.

‘This time, I was single for two years I had to learn to love me before I was able to love anybody else. I make me happy. Ryan enhances it. That’s the difference.’

Unlike her previous marriages, the star is in no rush to tie the knot and will ‘hop on a plane’ when the time comes, she said.

At another point in the interview, the panel asked her why the MTV EMA nominated star hadn’t joined her former bandmates in the recent Atomic Kitten reunion.

Kerry was just 18 when she joined the group and quit in 2000 when she was pregnant with her ex Brian’s child.

Natasha Hamilton, Jenny Frost and Liz McClarnon reunited earlier this month to release a remake of Whole Again in support of England at UEFA Euro 2020.

‘I wasn’t asked to do it,’ Kerry frankly replied.

‘I actually recently just read something that they’ll never work with me again. Oh dear,’ she said as she sipped from her mug.

‘No idea why. I love the girls to bits. I wish them all the best. I’m not a bitter person.

‘I wasn’t bitter at all. I wasn’t jealous,’ she jokingly squirmed as the panel roared.

Having lost her £1.25m home after declaring herself bankrupt once in 2008, again in 2013 at her local Wigan office and reportedly once more in 2018, the former singer revealed she has bagged herself a million pounds from her profile on the 18+ site OnlyFans.

She has also been able to send her son Dylan-Jorge to a private school thanks to her financial stability and used the ITV lunchtime show to defend her decision to use the adult subscription site for her own financial gain.

‘I started off as a page 3 model,’ the Celebs Go Dating star told said before asking if the panel members pay to watch films at the cinema.

Likening her X-rated photos where she’ll ‘show a bit of nipple’ to A-List actors who ‘get applauded walking down the red carpet’ for a film in which they’ve filmed a sex scene, the Celebrity Big Brother star said: ‘These boobies are mine and I’ve got an orphanage to feed.

‘I have made a million pounds by doing what I’m doing. My kids are okay with it. My children want for nothing now. I crawled my way back from bankruptcy and I don’t care what anyone says about it. I’m so proud.’
