Khloe Kardashian is slammed for promoting a weight loss product AGAIN

Khloe Kardashian has experienced backlash again for claiming a weight loss product helps her stay in shape, as she tells followers the product ‘works’ despite her also having a personal trainer and nutritionist.

‘Ok… I’ve posted with @flattummyco’s Shakes in the past and YES, I also use a personal trainer and nutritionist, but THESE SHAKES WORK to help get your tummy back to flat. Trust me you guys…’ Khloe wrote in a tweet while sharing a picture of herself with one of the shakes.

The 35-year-old reality star and other members of the Kardashian family have faced backlash previously for promoting weight loss products and appetite suppressants, but this hasn’t stopped Khloe from sharing the promoted posts.

Her recent declaration of love for Flat Tummy Co and the company’s shakes was shared on Twitter Tuesday. Previously, Khloe has used her Instagram platform to promote the product.

Although Khloe admitted to followers she does, in fact, use a nutritionist and personal trainer to achieve her toned frame, she also claims the shakes from Flat Tummy Co help flatten her stomach area.

But commenters were not convinced.

‘THESE SHAKES DO NOT WORK. @khloekardashian please stop the false advertising. This can be very harmful to people who’ve gone through ED like myself thanks,’ one commenter wrote. ‘@flattummyco your product is doing more harm than good.’

Another commenter wrote: ‘“Trust me” “these shakes work” “same shakes i drink” “but i also use a personal trainer & nutritionist”. Nothing adds up… how can u even tell it’s the shakes, when it’s probs the trainer and nutritionist anyway?! Report back after doing JUST the shakes for a few months.’

According to Forbes, Flat Tummy Co shells out ‘$200K’ for each paid partnership post from celebrity sponsors.

Due to backlash from sponsored posts about weight loss products, Instagram has decided to limit what specific users can see on its platform. It will now apply an age restriction on promotions relating to weight loss products for users under the age of 18. This policy will also expand to Facebook.

Upset: Most of the comments on Khloe's sponsored post were negative, with commenters wanting to know why she was promoting such a product

The change in restrictions for sponsored posts might be why Khloe decided to share information about Flat Tummy Co on Twitter instead of Instagram, but that didn’t stop her from receiving backlash from the post.

Actress Jameela Jamil has been one outspoken critic of Khloe, and her other sisters like Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, for promoting the weight loss products online.

Last year, Khloe shared a picture of her post-baby body while crediting detox shakes as helping her get her figure. She later deleted the post after experience an abundance of criticism, fueled by Jameela, from the public.

In a New York Times article, the Kardashians were asked about the backlash from Jameela — and their response only prompted the actress to accuse them of making money off ‘the blood and diarrhea of teenage girls’ with ‘eating disorders’.

When asked about the criticism, Kris said: ‘I don’t live in that negative energy space. Ninety percent of people will be really excited about the family and the journey and who we are.’

Her five daughters — Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie — have each advertised a range of weight loss products on social media, including detox teas, appetite-suppressing lollipops and waist trainers.

Kris then shares in the the profits of the brand endorsements with her role as momager. She also recently benefited financially by promoting the diet shakes on her own Instagram page in March of last year.

The Kardashian women were specifically asked about Jameela’s comment on Khloe’s now-deleted picture calling them ‘irresponsible’.

While speaking to the New York Times, Khloe said she’s never had a chef and often shares her personal training sessions on Snapchat for others to know her steps to achieving her figure.

‘Well, listen, I am showing you what to do, silly person, 15 repetitions, three times, here’s the move…’ Khloe said. It remains unclear if she was calling Jameela the ‘silly person’ in the quote.

Kim was also unapologetic about what she and her sisters commit to regarding product endorsements by claiming the opportunities were best for their kids.

‘If there is work that is really easy that doesn’t take away from our kids, that’s like a huge priority, if someone was faced with the same job opportunities, I think they would maybe consider,’ Kim told the newspaper.

‘You’re going to get backlash for almost everything so as long as you like it or believe in it or it’s worth it financially, whatever your decision may be, as long as you’re OK with that.’

Khloe is the lone Kardashian who continues to create sponsored posts for Flat Tummy Co in recent months despite the backlash that always follows immediately after.
