Khloé Kardashian reveals intimate detail from Kourtney and Travis Barker’s wedding

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker shocked fans when they revealed that they decided to get married in Las Vegas earlier this month.

And on Thursday, Kourtney’s little sister Khloé revealed an intimate detail about her sister’s wedding during an interview with Nova 96.9’s Smallzy’s Surgery.

‘I don’t know if I should say congratulations because I can’t work out if it was a real wedding or if it was just a what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,’ host Kent ‘Smallzy’ Small asked.

‘It was all of the above,’ Kourtney, 42, laughed, before adding: ‘It was the best night ever!’

Khloé then chimed in: ‘She had a lot of 818,’ referring to Kendall Jenner’s tequila company.

Earlier this week, Kourtney also said that she and Travis decided to tie the knot after ‘some 808’ while chatting to Access Hollywood. 

Elsewhere, Khloé admitted that the Kardashian clan have become used to fans approaching them on the street and acting as if they personally know them.

‘I think we’re so used to it, but definitely there’s times on the street that people will like, say like, ”how’s your mom’s knee or something?” And I’m like, ”what happened on my mom’s knee?” and like, it’s a surgery that happened years ago, but they’re just replaying it and I’ve even forgotten about it,’ she said.

Khloe admitted that she’s still getting used to fans being consumed with small details about their personal lives.

‘Being in TV before [social media] is so different than now. The amount of how amplified people’s voices are, criticisms are, knowledge. Now it’s so much that it’s very overwhelming.’

‘Now it’s there’s way more anxiety involved. And it does take a toll on your mental health, whether it be good or bad.

‘But definitely, I’m almost grateful that we got to be in the public eye wall while it was coming up because we got to learn at the very beginning as well. 

Just one week ago, Kourtney and Travis walked into the One Love Wedding Chapel, as Dean Diamond, their Elvis officiant for the evening described them as ‘kids in a candy shop walking in’ to get married in Las Vegas, Nevada after a whirlwind night at the Grammy Awards.

Dean shared that Travis was ‘speaking with his eyes’, saying: ‘He wasn’t saying as much as her, but he was speaking with his eyes, the way he was looking at her like, ‘Wow, I get to marry you.”‘

Despite a drunken night, Dean revealed that the pair were very clear when saying their vows, with a lot of meaning to the ceremony. 

He explained: ‘What I’m looking at is how they say their vows. How clear is their speech? Their speech was extremely clear and Travis is looking at her, you know like the way I look at my wife.’

The pair already had rings on, so Dean followed up the vows with the ring ceremony, and sang the King’s classic Can’t Help Falling in Love alongside A Mess Of Blues, while the happy couple shared a kiss.

Kourtney and Travis are thought to have paid around $600 extra for Dean to marry them, with the ceremony itself only costing $199 – as the were insistent on an Elvis impersonator for the special moment.

The couple began dating more than a year ago and have been friends for a while as neighbours living next to each other in Calabasas, Calif. He dropped to one knee and proposed in October on the beach during sunset with her family watching on from the distance.
