Lauren Phillips’ year from hell seems to be far from over.

Lauren, her co-host Andy Sunderland and other staff members have reportedly been given two weeks’ notice before production ends.

In the past 12 months, Lauren has undergone several operations in the aftermath of her split from husband Lachlan Spark in late 2018.

Although she did not reference the cancellation specifically, the presenter alluded to tough times in an Instagram post on Sunday.

She captioned a photo of herself with friends: ‘I’ve had a rough week. These two turn up with hugs, wine, a well below average playlist and smiles that you could see from the moon.’

In October, Lauren updated fans on her health by sharing a photo to Instagram of herself in hospital after undergoing surgery.

‘Nine months ago I had my hip put back together with the aim of being ready to salsa dance at this year’s Christmas party… turns out that’s not going to happen,’ she said.

At the time, she confirmed her latest operation had been more successful.

‘Whilst not everything has gone my way this year – to be honest, it’s been a total s**t show – throughout it all, I have been constantly reminded that I really do have the best friends, family and colleagues in the world,’ she added.

Lauren made headlines in December last year, when she announced her split from Lachlan Spark after just one year of marriage.

Channel Nine declined to comment.
