Kim Kardashian West has admitted to previously retagging dresses from the store she shared with her sisters’ after wearing them, while also confessing to always going to ‘any party’ just to be seen.
The dress confessions comes as the 39-year-old sat down with Vogue to look at some of her most iconic looks since 2006, starting at her earlier days in the industry when Keeping Up with the Kardashians first started.
For the reality show’s premiere in 2007, Kim wore a dress from her Dash store and said she then retagged it after the event.

‘I probably borrowed this dress from Dash, kept the tag on or just retagged it, and then returned it afterwards,’ Kim detailed, admitting she didn’t understand why she decided to dress that way for the event.
‘Obviously it’s like cringe-worthy, but I still respect and laugh and think like, “I was so clueless.”‘
While that look was ‘cringe-worthy’ for Kim to look at, she had other throwback style moments she deemed ‘iconic’ — specifically one in 2006 during her friendship with heiress Paris Hilton.
The look showed Kim and Paris holding matching large handbags when walking the streets together.
‘This is literally one of my favorite, most Iconic looks,’ she said while looking at the image. ‘This is what Paris and I were gonna be for Halloween this year, but we ran out of time. I think we need to do next last year.’
This then followed what Kim described ‘worst looks’ of her life, and it came from when she attended an US Weekly event in 2007.
‘This is the worst look of my life,’ she said. Kim was pictured wearing a Fendi belt and matching boots to pair with a gray business-inspired dress. ‘Any time I could go to an event I would, because I just wanted my picture taken. That’s all that mattered to me,’ she continued.

Other incredible throwbacks from Kim’s earlier years in the industry included a number of Juicy Couture velour sweat suits, which she would then accessorize with French tip nails and toenails.
Then One look Kim confessed to crying over was when she first attended the Met Gala in 2013 as Kanye West’s date prior to their engagement. At the time Kim was pregnant with their first child, North West, and was convinced by Kanye to wear a floral gown by Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy.
Kim wore matching heels and gloves for the event but said she felt ‘insecure’ with how she looked.
‘I was very pregnant, very puffy and bloated. I know no one really wanted me there at the time,’ she detailed. ‘On the car ride there I remember Kanye saying, “You look so beautiful, I’m so happy for you.” And then I was crying like the whole way home because I just couldn’t believe it.’
Hurtful memes of Kim in the floral gown saturated the internet, with some even comparing her to a couch.

‘I think Robin Williams even tweeted it and said I look like Mrs. Doubtfire,’ Kim said. But she has since learned to love her first Met Gala look.
‘Now I love it. I just remember the Olson twins came up to me and loved my look and my gloves. So none of the critics mattered to me because the Olson twins approved,’ she said, adding: ‘I look back and I’m like, “Wow, they had the vision.”‘
With the help of her husband, Kim has been ahead of the curve when it comes to fashion trends, including when she wore bike shorts and puffy jacket to model the Yeezy brand.
‘I remember everyone made fun of me for these bike shorts. And then, of course, everyone was wearing it two years later. I got roasted for like two years for this,’ the trendsetter stated.
This moment was one of the iconic ones of Kim and Kanye shaping the fashion industry.
And looking back on her style through the decade showed how Kim’s relationship with Kanye has significantly altered her style.
‘I always trust his vision, I think he sees years ahead,’ she said. ‘It is really interesting to see. I always say my best stylist of my best looks are the ones he puts together.’
