Kim Kardashian’s secret new man! Reality star caught texting mystery guy ‘Fred’

Kim Kardashian may be getting back into the dating life, with the reality star teasing a new man only known by the pseudonym ‘Fred’ in the preview for next week’s episode of The Kardashians.

The new episode – entitled Don’t Want It, Don’t Need It, I’m Done – features a preview for the third episode where Kim teases her potentially new man.

The preview begins with Kim, 42, – whose $600 gift basket to L.A. mayor Karen Bass was SENT BACK to her – having dinner with Scott Disick, where she tells him, ‘My friends wanted me to meet someone.’

Disick then kept up the air of mystery, adding, ‘Let’s call this guy “Fred.” Does he meet the standards?’

‘Oh he so meets the standards,’ Kim says as she’s seen in confession texting with someone who she confirms is, ‘Fred.’

The Kardashian airs on Hulu in the US and streams on Disney+ in the U.K. and Australia.

A producer adds, ‘Two years my a**,’ likely a reference to Kim’s comments on Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop Podcast in late December where she said, ‘I’m taking my time. I really do want to be single for a few years.’

Still, while nothing further was revealed about ‘Fred’ in the preview, it remains to be seen how much more is revealed in the third episode next week.

The episode begins where the Season 3 premiere left off – with Kim Kardashian crying while talking to her mother Kris about her divorce from Kanye West.

‘I don’t want to be part of this narrative and it’s like when is this ever gonna end? Like it never will and I’m stuck with this for the rest of my life,’ Kim says, adding she was, ‘so overwhelmed.’

Kris adds that she can’t, ‘control somebody else’ adding that Kanye is, ‘doing this to himself,’ but Kim says this is affecting their four children too – North, Chicago, Saint and Psalm.

‘Of course it does. That’s the tragic part of the whole story,’ Kris insists, while Kim says through tears in confession that she still feels the need to ‘not talk about it and protect it from my kids and I always will feel that way… but like God, if people knew… I just would never do that to my kids. It just is really crazy.’

Kim tells Kris that if Kanye were to hit ‘rock bottom, that’s his journey that he needs to figure out on his own.’

‘I used to run around and call everyone behind his back and be like, “It’s gonna be OK, don’t worry, just give him another chance.” I used to spend hours and hours and hours of my days as the clean-up crew,’ Kim says.

Kris mentioned that is why she divorced him and Kim says she, ‘doesn’t have that energy anymore,’ and Kris added, ‘Nobody does, and you never deserve to live like that.’

Kim adds in confession, ‘It’s the hardest feeling, to watch someone you really loved and you have a family with, just be so different than who you knew.’

Kris mentions that she’s sure Kim and Kanye’s nine-year-old daughter North is, ‘hearing something’ about her father, ‘and maybe she won’t say it.’

Kim clarifies, ‘She actually doesn’t know, and that’s what makes it so crazy. When stuff is said, it’s a chain to my whole household – “No TV, only Apple TV!” I can’t risk Access Hollywood coming up next or anything on the news coming up with their dad mentioned and they want to watch. They still haven’t seen anything but I go into crisis mode.’

Kim adds in confession, ‘I am the one being accused for so many things and blamed for so many things and it’s really really hurtful and it sucks, but I can control how I react and if I’m a mess, my kids will see that.’

Kris says the whole family loves her so much and would do anything for her and Kim says, ‘I just hate that I bring the drama.

She adds in confession that she thinks one day her children will, ‘appreciate my silence, my understanding and my grace.’

Kris gives Kim a hug in bed as Kim jokes it feels weird to cuddle with her like this.

The episode cuts to Kim arriving to her office to work on the Dolce & Gabbana show that Kim will serve as creative director for.

‘So the Dolce & Gabbana team said they’re going to propose 60 looks from the archives that we pick, and then 20 new looks, so it’s 80 looks total, and it’s me-inspired,’ Kim tells her team.

She adds in confession that she is ‘creative directing the Spring 2023 Fashion Show in Milan,’ adding she’s coming up with the looks and the accessories, adding they will ‘reproduce the entire archives, what I pick, to resell again, and we can pick anything we want.’

Kim adds in confession that Domenico Dolce will be there next week and she wants to ‘really be prepared’ with her team, including Tracy Romulus and SKIMS creative director Kim Schraub.

Kim tells Schraub that silver is her ‘thing’ right now and she picked things she looked from the 1990s to the 2010s, adding in confession it’s a ‘big deal’ to her.

‘I do SKIMS and I’m very confident in that, but I never thought I’d have an opportunity like this, and I love challenging myself, like when I did SNL. I stepped out of my comfort zone and I wanted to prove that I could do it, and do it well,’ Kim said in confession.

She tells her team that they will have ‘less than a month’ after Domenico visits, as her team marvels at how D&G can get everything done so quickly.

One of Kim’s team members said they whipped up the looks for Kourtney’s wedding, ‘so quick,’ as Kim adds in confession that she did talk with Kourtney.

‘At first it was going to be a SKIMS and Dolce deal, but we couldn’t get the product in time. I did call her and say, “Hey, the SKIMS factor is out. I’m still gonna creative direct the show.” I don’t think she knew how big of a deal this was and how big of a production this is.’

Kim tells her team that she likes this will be quick and over and Tracy mentions she does her best work under pressure.

The episode transitions to Scott Disick arriving at Khloe’s house… but Khloe calls him a ‘hacker’ because of his violent cough.

Kim is there too as Scott says he’s ‘stressed out,’ as Khloe mentions, ‘I pray you don’t do this on dates. It is what it is with me, but it’s disgusting.’

Scott mentions, ‘Why don’t we go on a date so you can see what it’s like? You get that practice and when you meet somebody…’ when Khloe interrupts him.

‘Scott, I’m just gonna be honest with you, if I went on a date with anyone that hacked the way you did, I would leave during the date, like I can’t handle that, if I’m dating someone.’

Scott points to the tea he’s drinking and says, ‘I’m trying to get rid of it for you,’ while Kim pulls up a Variety article about the show’s second season on her phone.

‘Listen to this article. It says, “This season’s first episode was set closer to the present, as Khloe reveals to the camera that she is to have a baby via surrogate, a state of affairs she had been unwilling to discuss throughout the process… re-emphasizes that what we see is what we are allowed to see.’

Kim adds in confession, ‘I like to read things to be up on what people are trying to say. Like I love getting the feedback from everyone. There was an article about Season 2 of our show that said Khloe didn’t give enough with her Tristan situation. First of all, we filmed everything, she shared everything.’

Back at Khloe’s house, Khloe adds, ‘With my surrogacy, I was so f***ing vulnerable. It was… I let people into what I was struggling with.’

Kim mentions that people might be criticizing the fact that she opened up,’ after the fact when the baby was about to be born, instead of saying, “Hey, we’re on this journey.”’

Khloe adds that she wasn’t, ‘admitting it to myself,’ adding in confession that she may, ‘potentially have cancer on my face and I’m talking about that.’

The producer pivots and asks if Khloe is going to have surgery, and Khloe adds, ‘I do have to have a surgery and we will see how much spread and if they can get it all.’

Kim continues reading from the Variety article, stating, ‘the rapper, now known as Ye, Kim’s ex-husband, is a non-presence.’

‘OK, what do you want me to do? Send him a camera? It’s not that I’m unwilling, it’s that my ex didn’t want to be on a reality show,’ Kim tells Khloe and Scott, who says, ‘We know that.’

Kim says in confession, ‘You can’t film with someone who’s not a cast member, who doesn’t have aspirations of being on a reality show, bottom line. I talk about him. I will definitely talk about my co-parenting struggles, but from my point-of-view.’

Kim tells Khloe and Scott that when she’s dating someone and she sees a story about them, she starts to believe the hype herself.

‘It’s hard when you start dating someone and you live your life on a reality show, so Pete and I had that conversation right away so you know what you’re getting yourself into,’ Kim said.

‘But the fans are like, “Pete’s not on the show,” and I was like, “We said that from the start. It’s not what he does,”’ Kim said.

Khloe admitted that if she was, ‘newly dating someone, I’m not gonna have them on the show though, that’s weird.’

Scott joked, ‘What else do they want? Can they see us in bed together?’ Kim adds in confession, ‘I’m not gonna meet someone and be like, pause, before we really get to a place, will you be on my show? No. And he was still on, guys. He was on at what level he was comfortable with.’

Khloe says she has, ‘no guilt’ and she shows, ‘so much about my life’ and she is an, ‘open book and I do it in a very vulnerable and good way.’

Kim adds in confession that when they started their E! series Keeping Up With the Kardashians, they were all in their 20s and it was their ‘only job’ and they didn’t have kids yet.

‘There wasn’t even social media. So for anyone to even want the same thing, now I know what it’s like when people would be like, “I want the old artist back.” No, people grow and evolve,’ Kim says.

Scott asks Kim and Khloe ’in a perfect world, what would you guys want? Would you want to keep going and everyone commit? Or would you want to put the show in a back burner, and just live your life without a camera?’

Perfect world: ‘It’s hard when you start dating someone and you live your life on a reality show, so Pete and I had that conversation right away so you know what you’re getting yourself into,’ Kim said

The question hangs for a few moments as Kim says, ‘No we love filming. We love our show. Khloe and I give.’

Scott adds, ‘I think the show is the centerpiece to the whole franchise,’ while Kim says in confession, ‘I just love doing the show because I think that I look at it as an opportunity to help other people with what they’re going through. The amount of letters that I get like, “Oh my God, you really helped me with how you managed this and how you went through this.” I love being able to show people a glimpse of our lives on a daily basis.’

Khloe jokes that no matter what show they’re on it’s the ‘same old, you and me,’ while Kim says in confession, ‘Khloe and I give real content, sharing every last detail of our lives. I talk about me wanting to lose weight and I am brutalized. I’m the f***ing face of all this criticism,’ as Scott tells them that, ‘this isn’t anything new.’

Kim continues in confession that she thinks the show is, ‘what made us,’ and she’ll always, ‘want to give it my all and give it everything I can.’

Scott says he’s ready to go but they never call him, as Khloe jokes he should put a wig on and become a Kardashian sister.

The episode cuts to Kourtney, who is doing a photo shoot for Wall Street Journal Magazine.

‘I’m so excited because we’re doing so much, getting ready to launch Lemme, which is my vitamin and supplement brand,’ Kourtney says.

They show a flashback to November 2021 where Kourtney and friend/Lemme partner Simon Huck are discussing certain flavors.

‘I wanted taking vitamins and supplements to be something that people can look forward to every day, instead of like a chore,’ Kourtney says in confession.

Other flashback shots reveal that the packaging could be reusable and they don’t use any new plastic with the boxes.

She adds the core of the brand is ‘fun’ while other flashback shots with Kourtney, Simon and their other Lemme partner, Nir Liberboim, discuss a product that Simon says is, ‘the cleanest vagina gummy ever developed.’

Nir adds that it has, ‘pineapple extract’ while Simon says, ‘It actually makes your vagina taste sweeter.’

Another flashback shot from November 2021 shows Simon saying how Kourtney has wanted to do this for five years, but she adds, ‘when the energy in your life isn’t right, it’s hard to do something. The timing is perfect.’

She adds that other incarnations of Lemme were just, ‘deals with other brands,’ but Lemme is her own brand, ‘which felt overwhelming in terms of ingredients and making sure the quality is good, but that seems like a much harder task to take on.’

When asked if anything about this new venture ‘scares’ her, Kourtney says, ‘People are also really critical of us, specifically, so what if they tear apart the packaging? The price?’

When asked how this took five years to happen, and what is ‘underneath’ the brand’s origins, Kourtney said, ‘I think it was the pressure, mostly from Kim, like, “What’s your business? I have my thing and then it’s like, well what’s yours?’

Kourtney adds in confession that her and Kim are 18 months apart, ‘so we definitely grew up more competitive, although I have let that part go, I’m not sure she has.’

‘I like to rage against the machine and just not do what everyone’s asking of me or expecting of me,’ Kourtney said, adding in confession, ‘I felt true to myself, taking my time, and not just rushing it just to get it out or on someone else’s agenda. Timing is everything. Being in a happy, healthy relationship was a big part of it.’

‘I’ve never had an easier time creating something. I think I’ve gotten to like a good work-life balance too. I’m building something that my kids can be proud of and be a part of. It just feels like what I’m supposed to be doing,’ Kourtney said.

The episode transitions to Khloe’s home where Malika Haqq stops by as Khloe is sporting bandages from her procedure, adding she has stitches throughout her chin.

‘I had to have the surgery where I had the tumor removed from my face. Remember I had this just tiny little dot on my face and they had to sort of open up my cheek,’ Khloe says in confession.

She tells Malika, ‘I guess when they were reviewing the labs, a lot more than what they thought had to be removed.’

Khloe added in confession that when she woke up and she had this, ‘huge bandage on my face and I couldn’t really move my mouth because I had these stitches on the other side of my mouth too.’

‘This was way more serious than either I understood or I anticipated it to be,’ Khloe said in confession, telling Malika, ‘What they just don’t know is if it’s pre-cancer or it already went to cancer.’

She showed Malika pictures of her stitches, and both of them said they were much bigger than they thought they would be.

Khloe added that by Wednesday she will know if they need to do ‘a second round’ and she has to have stitches for two weeks, as Malika starts crying.

‘I can’t laugh so don’t make me laugh,’ Khloe says, as Malika says, ‘I’m not making you laugh you weirdo,’ as Malika hugs Khloe, saying she doesn’t like seeing her ‘uncomfortable’ and she needs her to be OK.

‘Sometimes I know you just pay attention to everybody else,’ Maika says, as Khloe says, ‘I didn’t think this would be a tumor.’

‘You were supposed to get a break,’ Malika says, as Khloe says she could use a break, that would be ‘nice.’

‘When you’re waiting on results, is sort of when your mind can just go to different places. What if the cancer did spread? You start thinking these crazy things. You just spiral into darkness,’ Khloe said in confession.

Malika says she thinks this is one of the hardest things Khloe has gone through, ‘this is the closest to when your father passed.’

Malika said that’s why this is so hard for her because when Khloe’s father passed, ‘I didn’t know what to do and I feel like I don’t know what to do (right now).’

‘Not because of the baby but because of what comes with the baby,’ Malika says, adding, ‘I don’t think I’ve seen you this low.’

‘I do know that there is a piece of you that is dealing with something so heavy and you’re just going, “I’m fine.” “I’m fine” is like your thing, but you have to deal with some of the traumatic stuff,’ Malika says.

When Khloe asks what the ‘traumatic stuff’ is, Malika says, ‘Maybe just being a single mom to two, because that’s a lot.’

Khloe admits in confession, ‘What she says is true. I can be an a**hole and I can just block things out and laugh things off. It’s just how I cope with things. I never said it’s healthy. I just said it’s how I cope with things.’

Malika says it would be ‘emotionally clearing and refreshing if you just had a good cry like, “I hate this place.” I’m being serious.’

Khloe asks, ‘What will that do after?’ Malika says, ‘You’ll see after you’re finished. You have to try.’

Khloe responds, ‘Oh my gosh, don’t worry about me,’ as Malika responds, ‘Well, that’s not gonna happen.’

The episode transitions to Milan, Italy where Kylie is visiting places that produce her own makeup.

‘I just feel like it’s really important to see the places where my makeup is being made,’ Kylie says in confession.

‘Being here in Milan is really important for that because there is important shade matching to go on, just to make sure everything is perfect,’ Kylie says.

Kylie is inside the facility, seeing how they make her foundation, adding in confession, ‘I love makeup. I think the science behind it is also amazing, and really seeing how it’s made.’

‘Makeup is very powerful. It makes me feel powerful. I love to be creative and I don’t know, it’s a form of expression. I definitely knew when I was like 16 that this is what I wanted to do,’ Kylie said.

‘Playing with my mom’s makeup into getting my own, it really truly is a passion of mine, so it’s fun for me,’ Kylie adds in confession.

A producer asks who taught Kylie how to put makeup on, as Kylie adds, ‘Khloe was always really good at makeup too, and she would do my makeup sometimes, which was really fun, but I think I just taught myself how to do makeup, a lot of trial and error, and I think the fun thing about makeup is you can’t really be wrong. Everyone does their makeup differently and I think that’s the beauty about it.’

Kylie watches over the making of a blush, adding it was ‘inspiring’ to be here, adding she thinks she could always ‘do more.’

‘I took a lot of personal time in my early 20s. I really wanted to be a young mom, but I really feel like the rest of my 20s, I want to focus on work and really dive into it. I think my mom has just instilled in all of us to be really hard workers. So blessed to be able to do what I love every day,’ Kylie concluded.

The show transitions back to Los Angeles where Kris stops by Scott Disick’s house, after his car accident where he flipped his car.

‘I’m not sure really what happened, but he gave us a really big scare. He was on his way to Kourtney’s in his car, and the entire car flipped over, completely, which is terrifying,’ Kris said.

Kris asks Scott how he’s feeling and greets her granddaughter Penelope, as Scott says he’s just a bit ‘sore.’

Kris brings Scott a present – a book – and said he sent him a cake… but Scott mentions he can’t eat dairy, which Kris forgot about.

‘I almost die in a car accident and you try to kill me with the cake,’ Scott jokes, as Kris says in confession she’s so relieved Scott is OK and he’s part of the family.

Kris asks what happened as Scott says he was going to pick up Mason since they were going to a movie and he was driving by himself.

‘I made a right and the curbs in that neighborhood are not like flat curbs, they’re kinda like little lips, so the wheel kinda came into that little lip and just like grabbed it and made it like pull a little, and by the time it pulled, I smacked into a pillar,’ Scott explained.

He also demonstrated how the car flipped over – using his phone as the car – stating, ‘It basically hit, and it did a somersault forward, then hit, then landed.’

Scott admitted he had his seat belt on but he couldn’t get out of the car, so he tried the sunroof and then, ‘mosied on out.’

They show photos of the car flipped on its side, one of the wheels folded under the axle, as Kris mentions the car is ‘totaled’ and can not be fixed.

Kris said that must have scared him and Scott said, ‘It’s a good thing I have P. She took care of me, she got all the blood off of me when he was there. She came down with a wet rag, got my face all done, P was a big help.

Kris adds in confession that, ‘Scott is a great dad. He is so in love with those kids and you can just tell that the relationship they have together is so delicious and that makes me really grateful, because family is what’s really important in my house.’

Kris tells Scott that she’s glad he’s OK, joking Scott is like a cat with nine lives.

The episode cuts to London, where Kylie checks out some of her makeup at Harrod’s to see the display of her makeup with daughter Stormi.

They start shopping for her own makeup, as Kylie says in confession that it means a lot to her that Stormi could be with her and travel the world with her.

They stop for tea with her friend Fai Khadra, reminiscing that her and Kendall, ‘used to shut down malls,’ adding there would be ‘thousands of people who would show up to this mall.’

They show flashback footage of legions of fans chanting Kylie and Kendall’s names, as Kylie jokes, ‘We were really cool. I mean, we’re cool now, but we were really really really cool back then.’

She gets on a video call with Kendall talking about their mall meet and greets, as Kendall starts laughing adding, ‘No it was so much fun.’

‘I was able to come here and see my makeup being made, visit Harrod’s for the first time and see my displays, and it’s been so special,’ Kylie says in confession, as they all toast to the ‘Kylie world tour.’

‘I’ve got Travis Scott shoes, Good American jumpsuit, a SKIMS bra and SKIMS underwear,’ Kris says, as Kris puts her shoes on the counter.

‘Shoes on the counter, where you eat, is like the biggest pet peeve of my life,’ Khloe says to Kris, who starts to clean it up.

‘You want your nasty shoes that are outside walking in poop, bugs, dirt, urine, vomit, God only knows what. Your shoes go right on those public bathrooms, step on someone’s period blood and nasty s**t, and then you’re walking around and you take your cute little sneakers and put them on a counter. It’s so f***ing gross. She can’t think it’s OK,’ Kourtney says.

Kris adds, ‘I don’t know. I mean, everyone has their own five second rule. You drop a cookie, you put a dirty binky back in the kid’s mouth, I don’t know.’

‘I’m never eating there again. God only know what happens there,’ Khloe adds in confession.

Back at Kris’ house, she tells Khloe they need less stress and be kinder to our bodies, after Khloe’s tumor scare.

‘He said it could have spread at any minute. That’s why they rushed me to do it. But yeah, the relief of knowing that everything is gone, it’s out of my system, it’s good. This, never thought for a second it was a tumor on my face, like never never never,’ Khloe told Kris.

Khloe says in confession, ‘My doctor got the pathology report back and we got the entire tumor, all my margins are clear. I am so relieved, I am so happy, and all I have is a scar, that I will figure out later. You know, so many people are not as lucky and I feel really fortunate and really blessed.’

Kris adds in confession that Khloe holds all her feelings inside, ‘but I know how worried she was. Khloe is such a love and the heart of the family and I’ve never prayed so hard in all my life. It’s sometimes not easy but I’m just happy it’s over. She got very, very lucky.’

Khloe tells Kris that the ‘waiting process was super not fun’ as they share a hug together in the kitchen.

‘I feel like I’ve gone through a lot recently, but bring it on. From now, anything negative, return to sender. F**k all you guys, you’re not welcomed here. Don’t want it, don’t need it, I’m done,’ Khloe says.

The episode cuts to Domenico Dolce arriving in Los Angeles and meeting with Kim, who talks about creative directing the show.

‘So this is really outside of my comfort zone as far as designing, but I am prepared for this meeting and I know exactly what I want,’ Kim says in confession.

Nora Flaherty, D&G’s V.P. of Entertainment Projects, says it’s ‘Kim’s show’ and it’s ‘important she’s part of every single aspect.’

Domenico says they need some, ‘new exciting history,’ adding the company is his family and now his family is grown.

‘When Domenico tells me that Dolce is his baby, I get that. Like any business, let alone their empire, that is what they have built and that is his baby. I mean, there is a lot of pressure there,’ Kim says in confession.

Kim’s stylist Danielle Levi points out the micro Sicily purse, adding that is what she would wear in her daily life and it’s ‘so her.’

‘Danielle is my stylist, so especially for this Dolce show, I want everything to look really… styled very like me. It really helps to have her as my partner to go through every single look together,’ Kim adds in confession.

Kim tells Domenico in the meeting that she thinks the customer, ‘would love to buy the looks that I wore, I think they’ll just appreciate that,’ which Domenico agrees with.

‘I feel like I have a good pulse on what people will want to wear, and that’s a big deal to me, because not too long ago, I didn’t even know how to dress myself,’ Kim says in confession.

Kim adds in the meeting she’s not sure if people will want to see her, ‘all over the screen,’ but D&G Ambassador Gui Siqueira adds, ‘I understand where you’re coming from, not to have your images look narcissistic of you, but I also understand that this is Dolce & Gabbana celebrating Kim. You are their inspiration in this moment. Kim is asking them nothing. They want to honor the biggest pop star in the world, is Kim Kardashian, and that’s what they want.’

‘For me to do a project like this just means so much to me, like it really really does, but I am a little worried about Kourtney, just because, I’m never gonna fight with family, bottom line. I don’t know, like, I just don’t want this to kill mu vibe, so… let’s talk about it,’ Kim says, as the episode comes to an end.

The preview also shows Kourtney in New York City doing press for Lemme on The Today Show, which she has anxiety for.

Kris asks Khloe how things are with Tristan but Khloe just says, ‘What’s done is done,’ while Kendall and Kourtney say they are control freaks and it comes from Kris.

Kim is in Milan and her stylist forgot her passport and they have just three days until the show and they don’t have one look put together.

The post-credits scene shows Khloe complaining about how people needed to be taught how to wash their hands after COVID… and she knows people are putting their shoes on the counter.
