The cause of her death is ‘pending investigation’ by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office following her autopsy conducted on November 16.

On November 15 Porter, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs ex-girlfriend, suddenly died from what was described as cardiac arrest following a bout with pneumonia, shocking the Hollywood community as she was just 47.

‘On Nov. 16, an autopsy was performed on Porter. The cause of death was deferred pending additional tests,’ a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner said to People in a statement on Monday.

The coroner’s van arrived to pick up Porter’s body the day after her death, removing her corpse from her Toluca Lake, California home. But the results of that autopsy fail to explain how she suddenly died.

According to a 911 dispatch call obtained by TMZ, she was described as suffering cardiac arrest and was battling either the flu or pneumonia for several weeks. The night before her death she went to bed early saying she wasn’t feeling well.

Her time of death is listed as 11.40am on November 15 and the cause is under investigation, according to the certificate obtained by The Blast.

The document specifies that Porter was not pregnant at the time of her death. It also states she will be buried in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia.

The star’s sudden death at the age of 47 has baffled investigators. She had been suffering from the flu in the days prior to her death and was being treated by a private doctor.

There were also no medications taken from the scene by investigators that could have led to an accidental death.

According to preliminary interviews with family and friends, Porter had no history of drug or alcohol abuse. In fact, they said she lived a very healthy lifestyle.

She is survived by her son Quincy Brown, 27, from her marriage to music producer Al B. Sure, and three children with Diddy – Christian, 20, and 11-year-old twin daughters D’Lila Star and Jessie James.

Diddy and Porter dated on and off for 13-years. They were together with occasional breaks from 1994 until 2007 and Diddy even adopted Porter’s eldest son Quincy as his own.
