Kippa-Ring crash: two people are left fighting for their lives after alleged hit-and-run in Brisbane

Two women are fighting for their lives after an alleged hit-and-run crash in Brisbane. 

A ute driver allegedly fled the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Anzac Avenue at 6.53am, leaving two people in a critical condition.

Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that one of the patients was downgraded to a ‘serious’ condition and was transported to Royal Brisbane Hospital. 

The other patient is believed to being treated at the scene although their condition is unknown at this stage.

The male driver of one of the vehicles allegedly fled the scene and was tackled by witnesses, according to the Courier Mail. 

Daily Mail Australia has approached Queensland Police for comment.
