Kirsten Dunst reveals she got a weekly spray tan for new Showtime drama and couldn’t touch her son for fear of turning him ‘reddish brown’
She’s definitely a goddess in the movie world.
Now Kirsten Dunst has revealed what attracted her to Showtime’s new dark comedy series On Becoming A God In Central Florida when she appeared on NBC’s Today show in NYC on Thursday.
The ‘unique script’ was a major factor, she revealed, adding that it certainly wasn’t her character’s looks.

She plays Krystal, a low-wage worker who schemes her way to the top of a cultish, multibillion-dollar pyramid scheme in the 1990s.
‘I’ve got braces – that crazy hair;’ the 37-year-old shared.
But her husband Jesse Plemons’ great granny loved the look. ‘Every time I got home from work, she’s like, “You look gorgeous honey, I love the nails, the hair.” ‘ And her mom approved, too.
Kirsten revealed she had to be spray tanned ‘every Sunday night and I couldn’t touch my son.

‘My mother-in-law said, “I think he’s getting a little brownish reddish patch” and I said, “Lisa that’s spray tan.” ‘
The actress, 37, showed off a very different style on the show, wearing a sleeveless dress with broad, horizontal stripes of white, black and taupe that she teamed with matching shoes.
Kirsten reflected on being a multi-tasking mom who not only stars in but also executive produces the show. She joked: ‘Well you’re just, like, breast-feeding on the phone.’

The Spider-Man star shares her 15-month-old son Ennis with her actor beau Jesse Plemons. The couple met on Fargo in 2016 and got engaged two years later.
Little Ennis is actually ‘in two takes, and they used it,’ Kirsten dished adding, ‘It was for the grandmas.’
Meanwhile, Kirsten talked about the upcoming Little Women remake starring Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan, Meryl Street and Laura Dern, among others.

Kisten co-starred in the drama in 1994 as Amy March when she was just six. ‘I’m sure it’s going to be a beautiful movie,’ she said, ‘I love Saoirse [Ronan]’ who plays Jo March.
Meanwhile, one quick change later Kirsten was off to AOL’s Build studio to talk up Becoming A God In Central Florida.
The beautiful blonde donned a knee-length white dress with black designs. It featured a low-cut neckline and frilly cap sleeves.
Becoming A God In Central Florida premieres on Showtime on August 25.
