KKK leader threatens to ‘burn’ Univision journalist

A Klu Klux Klan leader threatened to ‘burn’ a Univision journalist during an interview, before revealing she was the first black person on his property in 20 years.

Christopher Barker, the ‘imperial wizard’ of the Loyal White Knights branch in North Carolina, had agreed to be interviewed by a ‘woman of color’ for the TV network.

But he became increasingly aggressive during his interview with Ilia Calderón, a black Colombian news anchor, threatening to ‘burn’ her and informing her she was the first black person to step foot on his property in decades.

He also called her a number of foul racial slurs, including branding her a n****r, and told her to go back to her country.

‘I’ve been here over 20 years and we’ve never had a black person or whatever you want to call yourself, you’re a mongrel to me,’ he told her Calderon during the interview, in which he was accompanied by his wife Amanda.

‘Why don’t you go back?’ he asked Calderon. ‘We have nothing here in America, ya’ll keep flooding it. We’re going to chase you out of here.’

When the news anchor asked him if he was going to chase her out, he responded: ‘No, we’re going to burn you out.’

‘You’re telling me you’re going to burn me,’ she asked, to which Barker menacingly replied: ‘Yeah, you’re sitting on my property now.’

Calderon again challenged him, how he proposed to chase or ‘burn’ out the 11 million unauthorized immigrants in the US.

‘Don’t matter,’ he replied. ‘We killed six million Jews the last time. Eleven million is nothing.’

Calderon admits she was shocked, and feared for her safety during the interview but had wanted to do it to prove to her Latin viewers that these extremist, racist groups were still alive and well.

‘I represent the things that they hate: I am black, I am Hispanic, I am an immigrant,’ she said. Calderon is Colombian and a US citizen, and is married to a Korean American.

Barker later joined the rest of his KKK members to perform a cross-burning ceremony, chanting ‘For race, for God, for nation, for the Ku Klux Klan.’

Despite his claims during the interview that he was neither racists nor supported violence, a few weeks later, his KKK branch joined the deadly white supremacist rally in Charlottesville.

He later praised the white supremacist who how plowed his car into crowds, killing 32-year-old Heather Heyer and injuring 19 others.

‘I don’t hate that she died, because she’s a Communist,’ he told local station WBTV.

‘When a couple of them die, it doesn’t bother us,’ he told the station, referring to members of antifa. ‘They’re always attacking and messing with our rallies.’
