A stylist with an eye for affordable fashion has sparked a rush on a $12 Kmart tank top by wearing it on Instagram.

Canberra blogger ‘This is Genevieve’ wore the beige knit in an outfit photo posted on November 12, telling followers she would have it on ‘high rotation’ all summer long.

The fashion-conscious influencer described the top as ‘super comfy’ and said it has fuelled her addiction for neutral coloured basics – versatile clothing that can be mixed and matched with almost every other piece in your wardrobe.

The ‘Sleeveless True Knit Tank’, which also comes in black and baby blue, is made from ribbed material and has a flattering scooped neck that exposes a tasteful glimpse of cleavage.

Women have been raving about the quality and affordability of the top in comments under Genevieve’s photo, with responses including ‘wow’, ‘so gorgeous’ and ‘love this’.

‘Obsessed with that tank top! Super comfy and soft,’ Sydney stylist Angel Perez wrote.

‘I was thinking about buying it, now I am convinced to do it,’ Melbourne blogger Maria added.

‘Looks like such good quality, love it,’ said Brisbane influencer Jess Dakota.

Perth lifestyle blogger Benna called it the ‘perfect basic’.

The top is part of Kmart’s latest clothing collection, which debuted to rave reviews in October.

Floral printed trousers from the same range caught attention last week after being seen on fashion blogger Tina Abeysekara, who said the $20 ‘Wide Leg Linen Blend Pants’ are the perfect piece for summer thanks to their loose-fitting fabric and flattering high-waisted silhouette.

The Sydney influencer called the trousers brilliantly versatile, comfortable enough to wear lounging around the house but trendy enough to wear in the office or on a girls’ night out.

Ms Abeysekara said she was ‘super impressed with the fit’ and confirmed the trousers are thick enough to hide underwear – even black briefs which typically show through low-cost material.

Available in sizes six through 20, the trousers come in a variety of patterns including khaki green check (pictured on Melbourne blogger Helen James)

They're also sold in a white and blue palm tree print (as seen on plus size influencer Jo)

Plus-sized fashion blogger Jo said the pants are ‘generously sized’ and ‘very comfortable’, perfect for lunch with friends or a summer barbecue.

Patterns include a blue and white palm tree print, khaki green check and brown leaf print, as well as block colour called ‘saffron’.

And with such a reasonable price tag, you could easily invest in more than one pair.
