A creative mother has found the perfect solution to enjoy drinks and snacks in the water without having to get out of the pool.

The Australian woman simply placed a glass top from an outdoor table inside a $5 inflatable ring from Kmart to create a floating pool bar for her family to use.

’39 degrees Celsius, a $5 Kmart ring and mum’s garden table means no need to leave the pool for food or drinks,’ she wrote in a Facebook group.

The woman said the table was quite ‘stable’ after the family were able to place an entire esky on top. 

Thousands of people were amazed with her creation, with dozens saying it’s the ultimate summer solution while others said it’s the ‘best hack’ they’ve ever seen.

Many said the woman’s makeshift water bar was ‘genius’ and a ‘game changer’.

‘Modern problems require modern solutions, great job,’ one wrote.

Dozens described the creation as the ‘most Australian thing’ while others joked: ‘Can’t get anymore Aussie bogan than that’.

‘That’s a true blue, Aussie way to go! Well done,’ one wrote.

Others who created their own floating table at home said their creations didn’t go as they hoped, with one saying: ‘We did this once, until we put too much food and it weighed down the floatie.’
