An eagle-eyed shopper has spotted a $13 cockatoo framed canvas from Kmart that looks almost identical to a high-end brand costing 13 times the price.
The woman, from Melbourne, put the budget version against the $169 ‘curious cockatoo’ framed canvas wall art from Temple & Webster’s online homeware store – and found the two had similar features.
‘I foresee this print at Kmart to be sold out pretty soon,’ the mother wrote in a Facebook group.
Dozens of people responded to the thread, with many saying they wished they had seen the post earlier after spending up to $300 on an expensive canvas.

One woman who owns the expensive canvas noted: ‘I have the Temple & one and definitely can see a quality difference between them. However for $13, you kinda can’t go wrong.’
Others said they couldn’t wait to add the budget print to their home.
‘Don’t show me this. I’ve been eyeing off a print like this forever,’ one wrote, while another woman added: ‘Omg yes I’ve been waiting for something like this.’

And it isn’t the first time Kmart has sold items that rivalled pricier brands.
In June, FEMAIL put the budget buys from Kmart against the expensive versions that look almost identical but come with very different price tags.
The retailer has been offering shoppers a koala framed canvas for just $19, while a remarkably similar print on Temple & Webster’s website is retailed at a staggering $484, which is more than 25 times the budget retailer’s price.
Upon closer inspection, both koala prints are identical, with Kmart’s version appearing slightly darker with a fiberboard frame, while A La Mode Studio’s canvas comes with a black timber frame.
