Kim, Khloe, and Kylie have all shown off the contents of their impressive closets — to many oohs and aahs from the internet.
But when it comes to sheer quantity of designer clothes, shoes, and bags, they’ve got nothing on mom Kris Jenner, who has decades of shopping over them.
The 62-year-old reality matriarch recently offered a video tour of her multi-room closet, flaunting her incredibly impressive collection of everything from sportswear to tiny, sparkly minaudières.
Ready for the tour? Dee Hilfiger, who is the Creative Director of Judith Leiber and also Tommy Hilfiger’s wife, brought cameras to Kris Jenner’s home to show the inside of her closet
Look around! Kris turned up to take the cameras around and point out all her stuff
‘You have to remember, this is 62 years of collecting. So it’s not like this just happened all at once,’ Kris said
Lots and lots of clothes: She has racks dedicated to sweaters, tweets, denim jackets, and blazers
She’s so fancy: Her dresses all have designer labels, including the red Valentino up front
Gettin’ sporty: She’s clearly picked up a thing or two from her daughters who favor the sportswear trend, and has several hoodies and pairs of track pants
Her uniform: She has an entire rack dedicated to at least 25 black blazers, most of which look identical at first glance
Pristine: She has lots of white button-downs, as well as a some flannels — and they are all very neatly arranged
Denim darling: Her collection of jeans is enormous and includes every wash, from dark to white
Dee Hilfiger — Creative Director of Judith Leiber and also Tommy Hilfiger’s wife — brought the cameras in for the tour as Kris showed her around.
The closet appears to be two large rooms joined by a mirrored hallways and done up all in white with plenty of shelves.
‘You have to remember, this is 62 years of collecting. So it’s not like this just happened all at once,’ Kris explains, gesturing to all of her stuff.
She then goes through her clothing collection, which is extensive. There are, naturally, plenty of designer dresses, with labels like Valentino and Chanel.
‘We shoot a television show almost every single day, so we have to have a lot of choices,’ says Kris.
She has more casual clothes, too, including a rack of what appears to be at least 40 pairs of jeans ranging from dark wash to white.
Comfort first: Surprisingly, Kris said the pieces she wears every day come from this section. She said she prefers sweats
Supporting her girls: She has plenty of stuff by Adidas — perhaps thanks to her daughter Kylie, who is an Adidas brand ambassador
Truth: She also proudly showed off her luggage, including a special MOMAGER suitcase
Pack ’em up! She said she has been collecting these monogrammed Goyard pieces for years
Variety: She also has some Gucci luggage, which she keeps on a higher shelf with a hat
Shoes: Everything is white and well-lit, and appears to be custom built to house all of her designer goodies
Athleticwear: She has a lot of sneakers, and they span two shelves
Packed: She has shelves of loafers and mules, too. The shelves all seem filled to the limit, which leaves a question as to what she does when she buys more accessories
There are at least 25 black blazers, all lined up in a row looking identical, as well as blazers in other colors, denim shirts, flannels, and tweeds.
There are pants, sweaters, coats, and other items too — yet Kris insists that what she wears ‘every single day’ is a lot more casual, pointing to racks of sweatsuits and Adidas zip-ups.
But Kris and Dee seem keen to focus on the accessories. Kris offers a quick peek inside one of her drawers, revealing where she keeps her scarves — including quite a few by Hermes (even duplicates).
Sunglasses are laid out on the counter, and the women each put on a pair.
She also has shelves upon shelves of shoes, coordinated by color and style. In addition to shelves of pumps, sandals, and boots, she also has a separate section for athletic shoes and sneakers.
Accessorize! At one point, Kris pulls a pair of Hermes scarves out of a drawer, and she and Dee put on sunglasses
Birkin central: She has 22 Birkins placed neatly in their own section of the closet
Thousands upon thousands of dollars! A nearby shelf as purses from Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, and Prada
In honor of the kiddos: Kris showed off this custom Judith Leiber bag with the word ‘Lovey’ on it, explaining that it’s the name her grandkids call her
A good mix: Quite a few of her bags are vintage, while some (like the Alexander Wang for Judith Leiber money roll, pictured center) are new
Copycat: She said that Kim had this peppermint bag first, and she had FOMO — so she got one for herself
But it’s the bags that really get the focus in the video, right from the beginning. The Judith Leiber team appears to have brought along a few for display on the table for the beginning and end of the video, and Kris shows off her favorites from the designer.
She breezes past her wall of Birkins — 23, at least, are easy to count — and walks by purses by Chanel, YSL, Bulgari, Fendi, Gucci, Prada, and more. Luggage by Louis Vuitton and Gucci sits high on top shelves, and she proudly points out several monogrammed Goyard pieces, including one labeled MOMAGER.
She then points out 16 different Judith Leiber bags she owns, telling the story behind each one.
‘Back in the ’80s when I first became aware of Judith Leiber, I was mesmerized by the collection. And, you know, they were, like, something that was on your Christmas list,’ she says.
The first, a small, gold sparkly number, was a gift from her ex-husband Robert Kardashian for Christmas in 1980.
Touching: This bag (pictured in front) was a gift from six of her friends for her 30th birthday in 1985
Scooped up! Every bag has a story behind it, including the triangular one (left) which a friend saw at a vintage retailer
It’s a me gift! Kris said she bought the red heart bag for herself recently
Special place in her heart: She has bags given to her by friends, her kids, and one from Robert Kardashian (pictured)
Spent it, girl! Each shelf on her closet could easily contain $100,000 worth of accessories
‘I’m afraid to take it out these days. I don’t even want to use it anymore,’ she says.
She shows off longer silver clutch that six of her girlfriends chipped in for on her birthday around 1985, a clutch from Alexander Wang’s collaboration that looks like a roll of money (and costs $4,995), and a black heart-shaped bag she bought in 1990 but wore to the Met Gala recently.
There’s a black triangle-shaped one a friend found at an online vintage boutique and flagged to her, plus a tiny gold one from around 2005.
She bought a red heart-shaped bag for herself last year ($2,995), a silver bow-shaped one ($5,995), and a peppermint-shaped clutch that Kim had first ($4,995).
She has a $4,995 rose clutch, a $4,995 penguin clutch, and a vintage number passed on to her by the kids of a late friend who passed away several years ago.
Good daughter: She said this vintage butterfly bag by Judith Leiber was a gift from her daughter Kylie on Mother’s Day this year
Wowza: Each of these Bottega Veneta bags (left) cost $1,580. The Judith Leiber penguin clutch likely retailed for $3,000 to $5,000. The two Chanel bags (right) also cost thousands of dollars apiece
A little of everything: She covers all of her designer bases, including YSL, Gucci, Fendi, and Hermes
Something new! Dee also brought her this new black card bag from their latest collection
Pumped: Kris was thrilled that she was the first to have it, and gave it a place of honor on her shelf
Kris was especially proud of a custom bag that says LOVEY across the front, explaining that it’s the name her grandchildren call her.
For Christmas last year, Khloe gave her a deer-shaped bag, while Kylie gave her a butterfly one for Mother’s Day.
Finally, Kris got a new bag for her collection, thanks to Dee, who brought along a selection from their new collection with Ashley Longshore — telling Kris she was the first person to get one this particular $3,995 black card bag.
Kris’ love a Judith Leiber bags is well-documented, not just in red carpet pictures but her own gushing.
In 1985, she celebrated her 30th birthday by making a music video in which she name-dropped her favorite brands and stores in LA, including Leiber on the list.
The video went viral years later when Kim introduced it to the world.
