Kris Smith is left in hysterics as he shows off his ‘pathetic’ Christmas tree

Kris Smith and pregnant girlfriend Sarah Boulazeris have just five weeks left until they welcome their ‘Christmas baby’ together. 

And ahead of the birth, the couple decided to spread some festive cheer in their home by putting up their Christmas tree. 

But the 41-year-old Myer model’s decorations fell a little flat this year.  

‘If that’s not the most pathetic Christmas tree you’ve ever seen, let me know? What is that?,’ Kris wrote on his Instagram story on Tuesday.

He then filmed his heavily pregnant girlfriend sitting on the couch, who taunted ‘ít is not decorated yet!’ 

‘I can see that. What is it? It’s not a Christmas tree babe!’ Kris replied laughing.

The couple’s tree was actually a metal light installation with small branches, where one silver bauble was seen hanging.   

Kris and Sarah, who is currently 33 weeks pregnant, have just five weeks left until they welcome their first child together.

On Tuesday, Kris revealed how he reacted to the news he was expecting his second child.

The British hunk – who also shares son Ethan, eight, with ex Dannii Minogue – said Sarah first told him she was pregnant at Sydney’s Coogee beach, before she burst into tears as she handed him a card. 

Kris posted a smiling selfie on Instagram on Tuesday at Coogee beach, with the caption: ‘This is the exact spot Sarah told me we was pregnant, she handed me the most amazing card and then she stepped back and she burst histerically [sic] into tears!’

‘She had no idea what my reaction would be. I opened my arms with a smile so big you could park your car in there, I was so over the moon, yes everything happened so fast, but we knew it was meant to be.’

Sarah, 27, responded to her boyfriend’s post by writing: ‘Thank you so much for holding my hand every step of the way. I couldn’t be prouder to have you as my baby daddy, five weeks to go xxx.’  

It will be an extra special event for the couple, given the timing of the baby’s birth.
